  • It's one of the most polarizing cases in true crime history, and we haven't even made it to trial yet. A 16 year veteran of the Boston Police Department, left to die in one of the biggest blizzards in Massachusetts history. Prosecution has charged his girlfriend, 42 year old Karen Read, with his murder, claiming she hit him with her car during a fight and left him to die in the cold. The defense says Read is being framed, set up to take the fall by one of the most powerful families in this Boston suburb- all to protect one of their own.
    There are discrepancies in statements, missing camera footage, and deep family ties to everyone from the lead investigator to the attorney general’s office, to the judge. With every new piece of evidence, a new controversy arises.

    Blood of the deceased is considered human remains and the fact human remains were placed in a beer pong cup and thrown on the floor of a parking garage is shameful

    A cover up is irrelevant in this trial imo. I personally could never convict someone based on the actual investigation. It does not conform to innocent until proven guilty

      @@CharlieLynne-eu9dzThank you 🙂 I am just shocked by what seems to me to be a bumbled investigation regardless of snow. It snows a ton where I live, too, and our police do good and thorough investigations. I don't know yet if Karen did it. I have to see a lot more evidence which thus far the prosecutors have not presented.

    An actual detective said when seeing broken glass next to a victim, he thought a cop stealing it from a bar the previous night was more reasonable than it coming from the house 20 feet away. Uhhhh what?

    This judge is making my blood boil! Today she went WAY too far by not allowing the police reports from the Lapalito brothers case for impeachment. She asked them to provide them last night. The defense did just that! The judge refused to check her email therefore it was not timely! She is binding their hands and it is an injustice!
    She continues to sustain objections that are 100% reasonable and valid questions that the defense deserves to get answers for. They have not ruled on the flood of new impeachment photos that she said she would talk about before Katie Albert takes the stand. The CW said it could be as early as tomorrow. Im pulling my hair out and cussing lime a sailer with this ridiculous bias and injustice!

      Just because the judge's attorney brother represented one of the Albert's for a hit and run vehicular homicide or she rents out her Cape Cod property to family of the prosecution's witnesses or she and DA Morrissey go waaaay back in Quincy political circles doesn't mean she's in any way bias...right?

      She does not require an explanation for objections raised in court . Brand new court rules , just for this case . She also tried to keep the jury from seeing the witnesses faces . Another brand new rule nobody ever heard of . This case will destroy the reputation of this ignorant judge .

Also if the cocktail glass caused the arm injury there would be glass in those wounds I think. Too much doubt in my mind.

    The new tail light video certainly throws a wrench into the Proctor messed with it at the P.D. theory. What can't be argued, though, was it was still intact when she left to look for John. Unless the CW can prove she went back to Fairview between 5 and 8 am, there is no reason for all the tail light pieces to be there.

    • @CompletelyRandomVideos
      @CompletelyRandomVideos 26 дней назад

      There has never been a dispute the light was broken prior to that moment. The defense says it happened when she hit John’s suv and the pieces were planted in the yard

    • @CompletelyRandomVideos
      @CompletelyRandomVideos 26 дней назад +3

      The video that would prove when the light was broken would be the library footage and of course, the prosecution says there’s 2 min “missing” which happens to be when Karen would have drove by… which is easily the shadiest thing I’ve ever witnessed

    • @CompletelyRandomVideos
      @CompletelyRandomVideos 26 дней назад +3

      So the footage that would settle this dispute 100% either way happens to go missing. I refuse to believe that’s an honest occurrence by the prosecution

    You know everyone is forgetting about the fact that John O’Keefe died. He was a really nice guy from what I can tell I mean he took in his nieces and nephews he was a Boston police officer and he had plenty of life ahead of him and unfortunately it looks like he was murdered brutally really brutally by Brian Albert and his nephew that’s my opinion and whoever let that go on and didn’t stop, it is gonna go down. at the end of the day, a good guy lost his life for no good reason and it’s gonna come out Brian Albert and his nephew are going to end up in jail for murder. It’s just a matter of who is he gonna take down with him? Why would anybody cover for someone else after he brutally murdered somebody and then carelessly left him out in the freezing cold to make it look like he got hit by a plow driver. There was plenty of opportunity to stop beating him to death, but they didn’t take that opportunity. Everyone in that house is gonna go down because nobody is coming forward and tell him the truth. do you think Brian Albert would cover for you? I don’t think so. He doesn’t seem like the type of guy that would so you’re all gonna lose your careers over this guy and you’ve lost your moral compass because it wasn’t just a small thing it was a terrible thing that everybody should be shining the light on and, I can’t wait to see all the people that are gonna go down with him because nobody cared enough about John O’Keefe to tell the truth. We need to be focusing on videos of John O’Keefe pictures of John O’Keefe talking about the kind of man John O’Keefe was. I get caught up in the trial to, but it’s gonna come out. She’s innocent they were gonna frame the plow driver, but that didn’t work out so the next best thing was Karen read. Nobody cares enough about John O’Keefe losing his life and standing up and telling the truth. It’s gonna come out one way or another. You come forward and tell the truth or the truth is going to be told in a trial when you’re going to jail for accessory after the fact or murder also and then when that happens, nobody’s gonna be standing by you I guarantee you you are all gonna look like a bunch of disgusting murderers and everyone’s gonna hate you!!

      Counting drinks in the film of the bar crowd proves nothing . A real investigation would have subjected her to a breathalizer test . After all , they claim she ran over a cop . But they gave no such test , because they knew who killed him in the house .
