this was a day light robbery. jacob clearly outplayed him in that last round and did so many skills that were functioning in going 1v1 and literally beating him. it was a close game but to give mehdi all the points just for scoring a good goal is not how panna should be assessed. the difficulty of jacob's ball carrying requiess so much technique, balance, and bursts of pace and as a fellow taller person, it simply is extremely difficult to ball carry in this sense and it was clear as day jacob outperformed him. it seems the judges were biased towards mehdi bc it was probably only the second round where mehdi deserves 2 or so points. the others it was clear to me at least jacob should have gotten all 3 points in the first and third round. he had more of the ball in both times and was far more functional in his face-to-face moves. mehdi's footwork consists of shielding the ball and running around the cage, so im not sure how judges can say this is even close to jacob doing a clean croqueta to the point mehdi needs to foul and obstruct his pathway
these judges have no idea what they're assessing and jacob probably would have won this tournament again as his skills naturally do win the judges' hearts but in this case they deemed a goal to be better than jacob's all round ball retention and 1v1 risk that he clearly outplayed mehdi in
im confused as to how a goal beats the fact jacob beat him twice for dribbling and overall had more possession. the goal was good but it wasn't special as he has done this type of goal many times. despite this, im unsure as to why jacob doesn't try to intercept these shots they mehdi does aerially, as he has the kick coordination to intercept mehdi's volleys. he should have at least attempted to block the shot as jacob has a certain speciality in timing and precision, being it was the last second of the round too. this was an easy jacob win and a single goal doesn't really dismiss what jacob did in that round

Totaly agree, for me Jacob showed better skills in all rounds... Mehdi did not show nothing special. Do not understand why Mehdi is such a hype because he plays only for golas, in terms of skills he can hide right away, many players are better than him.

The judges in the final round really disappointed me. Jacob has shown various unique styles and creative attempts. Only one air akka from Medhi should not get all 3 points.
Anyway Mehdi also deserved to get impressed by the audience by his air akka , but not all 3 extra points .
