In the third episode, it’s really a shame that Bart starts to excel only when he gets the proper curriculum. The current curriculum in schools is catered to girls and their interests and needs. The boys are left to suffer reading books like pride and prejudice, and writing essays about emotions and feelings. It’s no wonder why so many choose to check out entirely, the curriculum was never meant for them.
I don't think I've ever read pride and prejudice, and I've never written an essay about emotions and feelings. But, maybe the schools should start doing that. That way, we won't have a bunch of man children utterly incapable of controlling their emotions running around.
@@Jayjs20 Men don’t understand emotions the same way women do, and the way they learn to control it is very different. I am tempted to agree that there are a lot of, as you put it, man children running around, but it’s not due to a lack of state funded education. Read A Separate Piece and then All Quiet On the Western Front and tell me which one resonates more with young men.
Wait I thought. Men weren't emotional beings? They are logic? Men can learn emotions. That's hot they manipulate young women and ditch them when they get pregnant.
I've read Fahrenheit 451 and Great Gatsy in school, stop being a crybaby about nothing. Taught books in schools has always vary by district and teachers with zero evidence any one book has increased more than another.
Milhouse's father is a lot like him. (I'm pretty sure the term "like father, like son" applies here.)
Except according to another episode, Millhouse isn't actually his son
