So I've heard and read all over the place that deaf people actually are very exclusive and mean. I've really only regularly interacted with deaf individuals at two times in life. One was nice, the other was indeed quite mean and rude.
I’ve interacted with Deaf people a good amount recently and it’s just like hearing people. Some are nice, some are jerks. To be honest I haven’t met a jerk yet but I know people who have. And as far as the exclusive thing goes, I think we would be exclusive too if we lived in a world where only a very few people spoke the same language as us and had the same experiences.
