Having made self bows I can tell when one is properly made. Your bow is as good as one can be made. Well done!
Thank you sir!
You need to rethink that comment, if you think that was as good as it gets, you've got low standards. Not trolling, just stating fact.
@@davidhart8724 I was referring to type of bow and general appearance of the tiller not looks. I am one that doesn't like all the designs some bows have and add nothing to the bows ability to shoot well.A plain bow that shoots well is as good as it gets just as I stated. If I had a negative opinion I would have kept it to myself unless the person asked for my opinion.
Bow making ASMR ❤

@Dreamcraft Bows How heavy can you make ash? 75lb?
Very nice getting ready to build one
Thank you, good luck 👊

Thank you!
Another good video, you are a true craftsman...
Thank you! Appreciate it.
Excellent bow as always, but i think its time you really put your skills to the test. Time to make the mother of all longbows, An english warbow. Make it 100 pounds+ at 30-31 inches of draw
Thank you! Once I'll get my hands on a proper piece of wood - challenge accepted!
Wow ...Beautiful Bow Bro....
Love from Indonesia....
Thanks! All the best from Poland 💪
It was good to see that no axes were abused in this video.😁👍 I hate seeing people hitting the poll of an axe with a hard hammer and mushrooming it. 😖🤬
I was one of these guys too. But I'm much aware now and learnt my lesson

To drewno naszego jesionu. Pokrywam lekko rozcieńczonym lakierem akrylowy (Vidaron konkretnie)
One question, fried, what wood is the bow made of and how can l get hazelnut wood in a central american country called el salvador
This bow is made out of ash wood. You have other interesting wood species out there for sure
You should make the talon bow from God Of War 4
Thanks for the suggestion, I will check this one out!
how do you harvest the wood and how do you dry it before you start
I don't harvest it by myself - but the process is the same - after harvesting I split logs into staves, debark them and seal backs and ends of these. For a first few weeks I store staves in cold place, where they can dry slower, then move them to other where they can dry faster. I dry them approx until they start losing weight (4-12 months depending on conditions)
Nice bow as usual))) what poundage?
Thank you! 30lb at 28"
How would you know what string lenght to use?
I was adjusting it to achieve proper brace height (approx 6")
Thank you! Neither bow hunting or crossbows are allowed in Poland :(

Am I the only one who was questioning the tillering? That thing was all over the place. Hinge on one limb, no movement past that point.
