Hi
Investors pay cheyaala ledha shares withdraw chese timelo automatic ga cut avuthaya money...
Investor pay cheyyali tax filing chestunnappudu
I am salaried person
Consider I am filling as per old tax resime
Consider I have claimed all claims whatever was possible, after claiming all my taxable in come is 400000
So 400000-250000=150000
150000 is taxable income
Tax will be 150000*0.05= Rs 7500
Since it is bellow 12500 there will no tax.
*Case No 1*
Now consider that I am investing only in equity shares for short term gain.
I earn 60000 net profit.
As per 15% it will be Rs 9000
How much tax should I have to pay ?
A) 7500+9000 = 16500
B) only 9000
*Case no 2*
My salary income after all claims is same as case no 1, means 400000
Then 400000-250000=150000
N tax will be Rs7500
My short term capital gains is 20000
Then tax 20000*0.15= 3000
Calculating both
7500+3000=10500
Which is bellow 12500 limit
how much tax i should pay
A) zero tax
B) only Rs3000
Please guide me
