What To Do when lithium battery is short-circuited?

helo man! i short circuited the li-ion battery probable coz i wanted to measure with ff. caliper [of iron] - now is on 0 %??

is bms short circuit protection current is 3 times of rated current?

is smart bms also burn when we set high discharge current limit(80amp) and then we short circuit it at high ampere(500amp)?

@@lithiumenergy5714 Yes, once the short circuit happened,if the current was too high, exceed 3-4 times of the rated current, the BMS will be burnt before activating the short circuit protection

When i have a 60V 45A battery and it short circuits does it mean it destroyed ? 😅
