Absolutely amazing album. You just don’t get music like this anymore. Every song uniquely composed. Daniel Moore a legend in my opinion.

When I was in third grade in 1975 (yep, I'm old), my music teacher had this album, and I listened to it obsessively. And in April, 1975, my father perished in a car accident--his birthday was May 16, but he never lived to experience "May 16, 75." Moore's song "May 16, 75" has haunted me ever since.

I understand the connection. In 1971 when the album came out I was 20, thought I knew everything. At 30 I thought I'd never see 40. At 40 I became aware of just how much I didn't know. April 6, 1997, after 3 failed marriages and 5 years into a fourth that was failing, I surrendered my life to Jesus as Savior and Lord. Celebrated our 32nd in December. Usually listen to the hymns and southern gospel, the greatest songs, writers, singers and musicians. But I still have great respect and appreciation for the music of the '70s.
Try anything by Fernando Ortega, Stephen Hill (gospel), hymns by Bart Millard. But most of all, give your life to Jesus.
