The Orient Weekly Auto King Diver RA-AA0D01B is an awesome diving watch with an in-house Orient Cal. F6922 automatic (mechanical) movement. The model is inspired by the 1965 Orient original and has embraced all the vintage queues. That's also where name originates and Orient embraces it to make a true re-issue.
The watch has an internal bezel that is operated by the second crown, but also 200m water resistance and a day indicator at 6. It will look great with a suit or casual wear, so it's a true all-rounder with a great design pedigree, great quality and a true mechanical in-house movement.
Hey guys just purchased the black version!!! Cannot wait!! This is amazing looking. Second purchase from you guys. Actually wearing My ocean X right now
Thanks so much for that! It's a very cool piece - enjoy!!
I watch and read a lot of watch reviews. I really appreciate that you listed the sizes in the text so I didn't have to listen to the video. And most importantly... you did a wrist shot. Blows my mind when people don't show what it looks like on the wrist. One thing that would be helpful to add is noting how big the model's wrist is. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for your kind words!! :-) We do our best!
I wish it was a bit smaller, 43.8 mm would look huge on my tiny wrist.. due to the case size I will never be able to wear it, unfortunately 😑
Screwdown crown?
No - both crowns operate without screwing them down. :-)
Such a shame that it is ruined by the ridiculously long name of 'weekly Auto Orient king Diver'?'............i am paying for a watch, not for the pleasure of advertising for them? What ever happened to KISS? (keep it simple stupid?' and just call it 'Orient' at top and 'King Diver' at the bottom?...........................guess it would have sounded to classy for Orient, so they opted for the cheap and tacky look?
This is a re-issue of the original 60s model and Orient opted to use the original name :-). The 60s were a different time!
@@SeriousWatches I get that its a re-issue, but there are 1001 re-issues that have minor changes to blend with the times. By dropping two words from the face of the watch, I do not think that it would have been detrimental to the watch in anyway whatsoever............Like I said, just my opinion. I really love the aesthetics of the watch, but hate the literature. Shame as that's the only thing stopping me from buying this handsome watch!............PS I'm a new subscriber, and like what I have seen so far!
@@milesblack8485 I definitely understand your point! It's a bit quirky by all means, and I suppose they wanted to embrace that! And I suppose staying true to their pedigree. Hopefully they will add a regular Orient one, in a similar shape, in the future!
Thank you for subscribing by the way :-)
