Wolf, there's a game called Grounded on all platforms. I know it's not vr but it's close to Smalland and it's fun,just have to get past the starting stage.

its similar but at the same time different then the flat screen for example the map in this vr games is much smaller. the vr doesn't have a lot but its great still its defiantly one of the great vr games though

Bro defeated the boss with the tutorial sword god damn
also the flatscreen spider boss required you to bring poison cure potions and poison resistance potions and armor it was like the 2 or 3rd boss to fight in the game but if you weren't prepared it would mess you up
So, I have played quite a bit of the Flatscreen version of Smalland, and this is leagues different. It makes sense, though, because the original version is so much bigger.

Grounded does the same thing. it makes you focus on the lower area. looking at the sky or far objects becomes blurry. I guess it is supposed to give distance
You can tame spiders,grasshoper,lizard,dragonfly and bird

If you make it to the point of taming stuff and you get it to actually work please let me know how you did it. I'm pretty sure it's bugged atm and blocks you from going further than stoney shore.

The best "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" game available is "Grounded". The crew of Neebs Gaming did a full playthrough on that one. Highly recommended. That game really needs VR.

this game is not a port but a wholly different game with the same assets reuse for this vr version

It is always so annoying feeling when something like this game pops out and it turns out to be so limited and simple compared to what flatscreen versio is. Same goes with the Medieval Dynasty game. I was waiting that game to release as a VR games so badly and when it did, it turned out to be very arcadish and dumped down versio of rare game concept... like this this game is...
Oh and combat is actually pretty hard in flatscreen versio, even simple bugs can take you out very fast and bow is something that really helps to chip most enemy HP down before the melee starts. Flatscreen versio is also open world without loading screens.
I quess I have been spoiled by Skyrim VR (modded) and can't really enjoy other VR games that try to be open world RPG games where you can do whatever you want. I wish every VR game that tries to be "VR versio of the flatscreen game" would be made to run with PCVR only instead of trying to make it simple enough to run on mobile headset. There really is no reason for long play session open world RPG games with massive worlds and stuff to do to be scaled down on a headset that you will use next to your PC 99% of time. Games that run only with the headset should be simple and short session games like Beat Saber etc.
