I'm 41 and have loved and followed the sport of figure skating my entire life. I've cried today but tears weren't always flowing down my cheeks. The random nasty comments about Nancy's response are uncalled for. Taking inventory of tears is petty, at the least. Sometimes, people process emotion with streaming tears OR choke up verbally, but tears may not be constantly flowing.

We had a pond in our backyard growing up and at 8 I put on my qst pair of skates, pretty white l leather. I wanted lessons at the indoor rink at the local college. My parents were unable to do that. I have loved the sport my whole life. Much love and respect to all skaters world wide. To there strength and physical ability. My heart is broken for all lost on the crash. And all passengers on both plane and helicopter. Peace comfort and love to all.

Please learn to come back to your common sense, it’s not healthy to dwell on some old news that happened decades ago. It’s already 2025 for goodness sake. Just forgive Nancy and Tonya and forget about something that happened many decades ago. Move on, just as both Tonya and Nancy moved on from that terrible pastime already.
