This movie unabashedly captures the desperation we have for connection..to be understood..to just be listened to. There's something so unpretentious about the way it portrays what it means to be human.. to feel lost in this vast universe. It's like the characters are saying, "We know. We know what it's like. We know it's hard on so many days, but it's gonna be okay." That's just beautiful

Scarlets voice suited this song and movie perfectly. Honestly there couldn’t have been anyone more perfect. Casting was just amazing. Not to mention the colors of the film, easily one of the best of our time.

I read from somewhere that she was cast when the movie was already in editing and they had to rerecord everything with Scarlett and even remake some scenes.

We fell in love each other in such an intense way with every chat, every call, no matter we didn't meet in person, I loved him and he loved me. The time we finally could see us each other, came. First day we were toghether was the most beautiful day and night of my life, it was like touching the sky wrapped in his arms. We were very happy, we made a lot of plans, but life is not fair: unfortunately my boyfriend got sick and few time after he left this life. This song makes me remember him, specially because I told him the same words: "I've never loved anyone the way I loved you." I still miss him terribly and I haven't could fall in love again. Just thank to God for the time He let me be with him and the oportunity to love someone in the way I loved and still love this man.

Sometimes it’s funny to me, how so relatable this movie is with me, I bet it is with many others. I’ve been alone for so long since I was a kid, I never had much friends and spent my time in the class during recess. Everytime I’d make a friend they would always just leave so I gave up. Most of my relationships were formed online so I know how it felt feeling misplaced and different, feeling alone. I still have mementoes of such loneliness and as this movie states “it’s like our past is the story we keep telling ourselves” being alone has shown me how beautiful and peaceful life can be, but spending it alone gives time to think even in those bad thoughts ik there’s someone or something out there that can truly understand or show me who I truly am and why I am here. Someday somewhere out there, I’ll find that person. So will you, don’t lose hope, your not alone. We can all be here for each other.
Life is so magical and we are so lucky to be living, feeling emotions and feeling the breeze touch your skin and being able to see the beauty life has to offer. The stars, the sunset, life itself is the best form of art. Learn to express yourself in creative ways and you’ll find happiness.

Whenever I re-watch this movie I find myself smiling, smiling while Theodore is talking to Amy , or interacting with Samantha. Not laughing, but just smiling and enjoying watching them interact with each other.

This film felt so intimate, even if it had this concept of extraordinary love…I guess that’s what made it so intimate itself. Love that could really just never be.
Delicately woven, brilliantly designed screenplay, lifted by subtle and interesting direction, enchanting cinematography, sublime performances from Phoenix, Adams and Johansson, and completed by a beautiful soundtrack.

I recently came across this movie on Netflix and watched it since I heard it was good. All I have to say is wow. Amazing movie. I'm not much of one for "romantic" movies but this was so good. Joaquin Phoenix is an amazing actor and man, Scarlett's voice is just so relaxing to hear.

This is the first film in a while that made me feel connected. Actually connected to the characters, and even more-so the story. How purely it paints the brightest points in a relationship and how cruelly it grasps the emptiness of the low points. The music is incredible
