FOR A MONTH I COULD NOT STOP PLAYING THIS GREAT SONG. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A HIT IF PAUL DID A REVERSE PAUL AND WENT BACK WITH THE GIRL. FIRST GLIMMER IS GREAT, AS IS KNOCKIN ON MINE. PAUL DIDN'T REALIZE THis was a SPECIAL SONG OR IT WOULDnt HAVE BEEN BEHIND bLACKEYED Susan a song that annoys me. a little.
Paul Westerberg is a true artist who has same depth, talent, or genius along with Bob Dylan Carole King John Fogerty or any other great American songwriter yet most people dont know him or the Replacements. What a standout track "things" is.
Even though I listened to WXRT all through the '80s, I never heard of Paul Westerberg or the Replacements until a few months ago. Making up for lost time.
Such a great song. I was wondering if Paul really played guitar and produce this? He did. The guitar work is so beautiful and the production values bring in a sadly beautiful sound. Sometimes I wonder how this was not a hit in country or pop. The mistake Paul made was being too real. Women, dem delicate things that don't get it, want a happy ending.
This song is great. People who don't get it, I don't get. Sure if a happier song it could have sold more. People tend to be shallow. Bittersweet .. best song of it's kind using country and critical race theory.
Love Paul Westerburg 2022!!!!!!!
So sad, so beautifil. One of the best songs of all time.

One of my favourite Westerberg songs. Nicely done Mats video homage.
This song always reminds me of how much I love my wife and all of her little quirks. Thank you Paul, you are an amazing gift to us.
Indeed.
I think this truly is my favorite song of all time
Its like tripping, a nice trip

Cool reference to the Bastards of Young video. This song still gives me chills and brings a little tear to my eye every time I hear it.
And I'll be you when he trips on the drum kit

Wow.... Wow....
Great video, very Replacement-ish. There's alot of good songwriters out there but Paul Westerberg, no one can touch him, this song is proof of that.
Great Homage to Bastards of Young.
Perfect! great idea on the video!
I get it.
thanks
NRBQ vibe , really nice
Close your eyes, and you could picture Frank Sinatra singing this. What a perfect crooner song.
Not a bad call, but for some reason I always envisioned Dwight Yokum covering this song
@@kevinstobaugh648 goodness. Never thought of it - it would be awesome!
