This was a BRILLIANT movie. I love it, as I love the first one. I felt bad for Ralph though...the old man passing, him trying to get his book published. Such a funny movie. Here’s to Ralph’s Old Man. He may have had a hard battling with that furnace, lost that Turkey to the Bumpasses, & lost his Major Award leg lamp in the last movie he got his son the Red Ryder carbine action 200-shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock.

4 decades later!

So far what I have seen, this movie was not advertised or promoted as other action packed movies made this present. Warner Brother is testing or has been testing the waters with this brilliant sequel to the original Christmas Story. I guess WB is waiting for years to pass, like the previous A C S, to become a classic letting people decide. For today's social climate, especially for the teens and tweeners, this movie may not capture their interest because of the narration. However, the story itself is or has already become a classic and should be promoted like the Star Wars remakes. Why it hasn't been done remains a moral shock. Why is it not out on theaters is blasphemy to Christmas tradition and the belief that there could still be a spirit that wakes us all. The spirit of family and LOVE.
