Thanks for taking us along. I love that road from Whitewater to Gateway thru slot canyons then wide valleys. Last spring there were lakes in The Valley from all the snow pack.
Same music I think I used for Sasta’s ear bouncing as she ran next to me! Great views! I got family all over Colorado, time for me to start riding there more often!
Mid summer is HOT in Grand Junction, Gateway and Moab as in 100+ so I’m guessing SJH doesn’t want people getting dehydrated climbing the backroads. I’m going in October.
You can purchase them from the Adventure Cycling Association website. They also have a good phone app for the route that helps with navigation. That’s called Bicycle Route navigator. You do have to purchase the maps, but they’re less than the paper ones!
Awesome 😎.. I'm a Colorado native and still need to explore more of my state
I’m not a Colorado native but I also need to explore more of your state.😂

I agree…that stretch is stunning! Would have been cool to see those lakes, lucky you!

Colorado is incredible, I can’t seem to get my fill!
Great job Katrina and Tracy! Loved the video! Keep the adventures rolling Katrina!
Thank you Ray!
Great video ladies, my wife and I want to plan this ride for 2024. Can you advise on which month this trip was. We see only available April / Oct.
Sorry for the late response! We rode over Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29

How hard is it to find your way? It looks like a mix of roads and trails. I would love to try this route.
They give you gpx files as well as written instructions. It was pretty easy to navigate!
@@katrinahase where can I find the instructions?

Looks like you lucked out with hardly any traffic. That would scare me 😮
Yes, not a lot of reason to go on those roads, it’s so backcountry!
