After going through all the 5 lectures of polity I can definitely say that these are the best lectures to revise with all minor details which we sumtimes misses while we do revision.....looking forward to such typ of quality lectures for all the remaining subjects .....thnk u so much byju's ❤
I think the NOTA should be given more sognificance as the current procedure outright neglects the effects of NOTA. Countries like Indonesia has a good scheme where even one candidate with no opposition has to compete with NOTA which will check the candidates capability. Although there may be more resources used, it will have a better long run effect which will benifit the people in choosing a leader who is actually capable and wanted.
on one hand ,NOTA will be of no use if we have to hold elections again and again as there is a chance of it being selected by voters again ,we must ensure a special procedure like if nota is above 50-60% then elections should be carried out but not with the same candidates,,,if it is below the given level then the frontrunner should be a given chance to form govt.

What I think,that the option of NOTA should not be there, because it's already clear about all candidates for contesting elections, then there should not be the choice of the electors at the exact time of voting in the room to waste the time and important vote ,and time of rest others. And it's obvious that at the exact time in the room,cast his vote for nota ,means equal to not the cast his vote .
In my opinion, NOTA must be given a more significance in voting process. As of now, though it speaks the voice of voters' dissent, but if the NOTA is getting more votes than the winning candidate, then after the second highest scoring candidate is declared as a winner. This means more significance must be given to NOTA, as in democracy voice of people is utmost important. There must be a re-election in case if NOTA wins. Also, we must study the global practices and find if any suitable for our conditions.

NOTA ....if this kind of election are to be performed than it will be never help people of India to choose there representative well....bcs... the highest numbers of majority will vote NOTA then there is no reason of selection,or election by people..... elections are not for intrested or not .....(it's for to choose the government of your choice...my opinion for NOTA it's not a good part of election...
