The West Highland Pullman Rail tour visits Stowmarket 16/08/24

Well what a pleasant surprise this was on a Friday morning! The Pullman short set was sent down from Crewe to work the rail tour from Shenfield to the highlands at Fort William. 43059 only recently got the nameplate of Loch Shiel so that’s nice to see. This same set will run a tour from Norwich to Paignton on the 21st of August, next Wednesday!

How do you find out about where these trains will be? I live in Stowmarket and didn’t even realise this was going on!

Hi there! I use RealTimeTrains on Google to know where and when these sort of trains will pass through whatever station I choose so I knew that this was running a day before. Hope that answers your question!
