Wow, you hit the nail on the head about someone just taking the bag of groceries out of your hand without asking. I too suffer from fibro/CFS and spine injuries and sometimes just carrying my own purse or at least one grocery bag makes me feel like I really helped that day instead of always being the one that is being helped. I feel frustrated sometimes when my husband or sons say " no Just go in the house, i got it". They take great care of me and I appreciate it so much. I am blessed to have them as I realize the some people have no one. The thing is I grow weary sometimes of being the "invalid".
