Very interesting; I've never thought to dehydrate bok choy or bean sprouts but that's an awesome idea since the sprouts have a tendency to go bad quickly.
Can I just drop dehydrated leaves of Bok Choy into soup as it's cooking and skip the rehydration step? I want to stock up on baby bok choy. Most importantly, are these shelf stable or do they need vacuum sealing each time I remove some?
Yes definitely just add to your soups no rehydration needed first They are shelf stable if you put in a jar , Vacumn sealing isn’t necessary if you use it up within a year ish ,,,, I don’t vacuum seal unless I’m putting in a more long term storage setting I keep veg I use a lot in my pantry with a lid and I do put a moisture absorber in them because I can be humid where I live Thank you for watching!
We love dehydrating cabbage and I'm definitely going to have to do the sprouts. Missed you yesterday in the Live... Take care 🤗🤗🙏 Kendra
Love it!!! Dehydrated food takes up so much less room.
First time I've seen something rehydrated....fascinating
