- Thanks Accurascale for excellent Customer Service. Uploaded video regarding sound vault to Accurascale. The loco wasn't sound fitted at the factory. I purchased a sound chip and speaker from them. The loco would try to start ( Engine start up) but cut out and no other sounds would play. It would play sound if the function 1 was pressed when the loco was moving. They suggest altering CV63 down to 150 from the factory setting of 192. This did the trick and so far all ok. Great customer service
My 37 has been back to them twice. In fact, they've had it longer than I have. 5 months in total, the second time it came back worse than before.
Back to Bachman for me.
Oh dear 😳
I had the same issue when I retrofitted mine, so I changed the cv 63 settings a few weeks ago and now it’s an absolute peach. Absolute stunning model. Great vid, thanks for uploading.
Glad your is OK as well. it is a stunning model.thanks for the nice comment. cheers chris
Hello, well done. nice to know it was an easy fix.
But its not a fix, its a work around a problem, that should not happen, its ok if you play at home, but exhibitions are very noisy places, so turn up the sound and off it goes, not good enough...😢
Yes, thanks
Sounds good now mate👍
Thanks 👍 very much. Cheers Chris
Same with my two 37s. CV63 is master volume. With the volume set high the demand on the amplifier is too high. I think it's a feature of the speaker set up to give lots of thrash. Unfortunately, the solution is to reduce the thrash.
Anyway, the sound it far too loud (as with most sound decoders). Should be set much lower than 150.
Good idea 💡. I am going to go through my sound loco and reduce the volume. Cheers Chris
Hi. I'm guessing this was a ready loco now with added sound. The reason I say this is because the grey speaker clips at both ends are upside down.
The clips fit over the speaker brackets with the four legs clipping into the loco.
Yes well spotted, bit of a senior moment / school boy error. Been change. thanks
Just overloaded the decoder, quite a few of my ESU decoders do this, mine was the horn sounding, too loud and shutting the sound off, so just lowered the volume and now ok, Hornby TTS decoder sounds are programmable, but not sure about the newer Loksound... prefer TTS...
ive have both fitted to Bachmann 37s but i have had problem with TTS getting a bit to hot. nothing so far with ESU or Zimo. Fingers crossed
Great model shame about the sound. When a 37 is priming before starting you can't hear the pump outside. And that ridiculous AWS horn when it changes direction that doesn't happen and certainly isn't audible outside. It irritates me so much I'm getting mine reblown. I hope the 31 doesn'thave these issuesbut I thinkthey need to changesound provi.
Hi. ive ordered the class 31 with sound. so hope it will be fine. Ive recorded a old backmann 37 with roads & rail ESU HIFI sound. this will be released soon. so will be able to do a comparison
You can adjust individual sounds like horns etc on most soundfiles by altering CV values.
@@kevvynolan8753 I've spoken to accurascale and unfortunately nothing can be done with it. I'm getting it reblown
Y'all continue to accept Accurascale's fixes excuses and fixes.. But the reality is that they should NEVER have been despatched to customers....
in fairness this was a retro fit with there chip and speaker, not factory set up. its the only problem ive found
