- In this video from CNN, Brianna Keilar interviews US Rep. Joe Neguse about the Wildfire Response and Drought Resiliency Act, H.R. 5118, which would benefit wildland firefighters. It boosts their pay and benefits, helps the Forest Service fill gaps in fire management staff, and promotes bigger forest management projects to reduce hazardous fuels.
AGW is no joke, we're seeing the consequences, flora and fauna migrating. :(
GW, for sure, as has mostly always been the case. The A part, nope. That is a purely political/power construct, in which science was and is curated via the IPCC’s permitted CMIP datasets, and it’s control of funding.
Please also don’t neglect the abundance of fuels due to decades of suppression of natural less-intense periodic wildfires. This is what controlled burns attempt to correct. A good source on this is Deke at YT chan The Lookout.
Well it;s a start, A democrat actually "trying " to do something that makes sense.
