I have the DX6i and bought the UMX Carbon Cub SS. The flaps work but I can't figure out how to change the throw. At one point I had the elev and ailerons mixing! I'd pull back and the ailerons would turn. I wasn't flying the plane just bench set up but I really would like to set the elev and flap mix as well as the travel. I pretty much did what you demonstrated in this video but had no luck. I must be doing something wrong.
go to mix 1 gear to flaps set it 25% up or down whichever makes your flaps go down. then go to the flaps and set it for 50% you can go higher just make it look right on the plane. now when your gear are down your flaps are slightly deployed then when you hit the flaps switch they fully deploy. thats the only way i can think to make it work on a dx6i i land with flaps so i think i will try it on my p51 mustang and see how it goes hope it works for you if not your stuck with up and down on dx6i
Pastor Duane I will have to look in my plane. Sorry I took so long to respond. I haven't been working on my youtube channel much for the last couple years. I'm planning on getting so new stuff posted soon however.

I have been doing this for years. Essentially it is a 4 position switch. P1) Neutral ,P2) let's say 10%, P3) 50% , P4) 100%. A 3 position switch has P1)neutral ,P2) take off 30% ,P3)Landing 100%. All These setting's are made up. You need to find the setting's that work best for your plane.
not really sure how you could have two flap settings and retracts together. ive never had a plane with retracts so ive never done anything to try to figure that out.
If you count up flaps at zero, you really have a 4-position flap setting with this mix. I don't think I've seen anyone else do it. Congrats!
Your video inspired the answer to a problem I was having. Thank you very much.
Thank you mister! You just saved me some money.

Thank you very helpful.
Thanks it works
Good video 👍. But I have a question, how do you get the flaps to move slow and smooth? I have a DX6I transmitter.
Hi I think my flap switch is broken. How other way can I do it can I get the landing gear at the same time as the flaps? Or any other way please ?
Can I use the elev d/r toggle next to the flap toggle the same way?
Can I just use Flap -> Mix 1 instead of GEAR -> Mix 1?
Hello, what's the mix switch?
Thanks
Hi have that radio how do I have flaps and elevator mix for landing please ?
Hmm bummer ..i have retracts shame unless i get a dx8..can i at least get 2 flap settings on dx6i?
How did you make the flaps run slow. How to program that with this transmiter please
To make your flaps run slow you need to add a servo speed regulator dx6i does not have a the function ie,trim dial
Hope this helps happy landings
What channel did you have you flaps plugged into? Gear or flap?
