Shayne's hosting instincts were on POINT in this one. The "this fact is also very heavy" set up, reassuring Heidi during the rubix cube clip, etc, etc. He's always a good host, but this time it felt more active or something.
Shout out to Amanda for acknowledging how nice it is & thanking Ian for thinking of the pressure on young kids not having their period yet & being worried about that. Very wholesome.

I can really relate to the Starburst story. My senior year of high school my english teacher gave us the option to assign our own seats and to put down the name we wanted to go by for the whole year. She thought it would be a fun way for us to engage with the start of our senior year and trusted we would be responsible! Well, me being the little shit that i am, decided to write down "Dragon Master" on the seat I wanted and promptly put my ass in that chair. My teacher went through roll call after we all wrote our chosen names and sat in our seats and stopped when she got to my name... "Dragon Master?"
I reply, "Yup. You said you'd call us whatever we put on the seat assignment sheet!" I was giggling with giddy glee.
"Ok then, Dragon Master. I look forward to working with you this year :)"
Fast forward to a few months into the semester, I'm officially writing and submitting assignments under my name Dragon Master. Not once did i break nor did my teacher. My peers began referencing me as Dragon Master outside of class even though they knew my name and had used it before! Whenever my teacher had to change the seating arrangements again (due to some class drama obv) I was listed exclusively as Dragon Master.
A year after I graduated my sister ends up in the same class with the same teacher! She was so excited about getting to be in her class that after the first class day she had to go talk to the teacher. My sister went on and on about all the different stories that I had told her. The teacher, however, didnt make the connection. Some would say the look on her face was absolutely vacant.
My little sister had been talking about me using my actual name. She goes, "Oh my brother used to be called Dragon Master-"
"Oh DRAGON MASTER! Love that kid!"
So yea my teacher literally forgot my name and only remembers me to this day as Dragon Master. Anytime my sister talked about me or referenced a story from my past the teacher would only use the name I chose that day. Seriously the best teacher ever.

Heidi is a lesbian but I agree it's a shame she doesn't have a girlfriend, she seems so sweet.
Ian did really well. He had good instinct when it came to picking out traits of the crew. It reminded me of Shane's slapping social experiment.
As much as it is a joke, it does make sense. He is the boss, and probably has the best idea of the different crew members’ personalities.

Damien's joke about smosh being the island of misfit toys isn't all that far off. Modern smosh has always struck me as being about a bunch of smaller names in entertainment from the outskirts of hollywood working together to grow as a group.
