This & Tip 118 are two of the best Brazilian Zouk basics instructional videos I've seen. Zouk is becoming more popular in the DC/VA/MD area; and Body Rolls, Afro-Cuban isolations & Neck Rolls are incorporated more in WCS. That's very nice but seems to me that if you count slow (two beats) quick (one beat) quick (one beat) you are doing the break step on beat 3. However when you dance to the music which is syncopated, slow (one and a half beats) and (half beat) quick (one beat) quick (one beat), you are doing the break step on the 'and' which is beat 2. Is the counting just to make it easier for students to learn?
