It’s funny how the people that were thought of as “villains “ never quite get past the stereotype of what is a ‘enemy’ such as posters depicting foreigners from Europe, or tv show terrorists like on 24 or iconic Libyans in BTTF.

This movie targed the Muslims, especially those with dark skin, it's good that Tony knew that this kind of disgusting movies and propaganda is completely wrong and that he refuses to do it again.

Seems rather ungrateful and ignorant towards 'The Equalizer' when it was his first job. He wasn't that good in the part either, handling an UZI like an arcade game gun.

ahaha most terrorists have no clue how to use an auto subgun either.. weve killed plenty.. he wasnt playing hamlet moron.. he had YEARS of experience in his craft.. he had a shallow part and played it the way they wanted idiot.. hes been in a dozen movies and several decades long series and 100s of awards.. i think hes doing just fine

I agree Tony to have a very snooty attitude towards his role in 'The Equaliser'.
Much as I love 'Monk' I would rate 'The Equaliser' every bit as good as 'Monk' when it comes to a light family entertainment show. The writing, the production values, the acting of the main characters, absolutely everything.
Frankly I was a little dissapointed at Tony's snobboshness towards the program.

i love the siege. great movie, timely movie, the equalizer on the other hand, makes me grimace, it's grossly stereotypical...and really racist, i am not proud of it, clearly Tony isn't either, that was just a rookie mistake and uh, thank god he learned from it :)

@@johnnyllooddte3415 Bullshit. He took the job...he knew what the script was and if he didn’t like it or how was he being asked to play it, he should have walked. Quit after the first day.
Again, you know nothing about this business. Guest stars can do that. They did, especially back in those days. They were blacklisted for it, never hired again, but they were usually theatre actors with inflated, delicate egos and even more sensitive “moral compasses”.
If it worked for Edward Woodward, an RSC veteran, a far superior actor who didn’t mind playing a borderline vigilante, it wasn’t as bad as what you snowflakes and Shalhoub make out.
