@@Home.Lander.69 you'd be surprised. maybe we're a minority, but there are short girls who dont go out of there way to necessarily have a tall guy unless we obviously happen to fall for one. especially women in countries where guys are shorter, or in an area where guys are shorter, they wont care as much.

I'm a little under 5' 8" and so I'm taller than all my friends and anytime we are joking around they always say "it's cause you are so damn tall" and I used to not be insecure about my height but people talk about my height like it's a bad thing. It is so annoying when my family brings up my height cause it's like they keep reminding me of what I can't change yk. And to me i feel like my height is at such an awkward part. It does suck being a tall girl dating cause most guys want a girl that's like 5'5" but I am still trying to live my height.

I’m a talk girl myself 5’11 and dating is really hard. I do try to go for guys my height or taller, the shortest guy I’ve dated was 5’6. You would think because I’m taller I would be seen as someone to date but I do get looked over😂. Okay that was not funny but anyways. I’ve grown up with the idea of no high heels and no platform shoes because of insecurities. All my friends are shorter than me so I am the last to be picked to date mostly never. I feel like guys tend to over look my other qualities like my personality because of my height. It’s rough out here.

As a 5"10 dude I never felt short, but as society (women) has started to "shame" men for being "short" I sometimes do feel short but then I snap back to reality which is the mental that I always felt normal and "Tall"
I am a tall girl and i am around 5'8 to 5'9. Short girls always get mad when we say leave the tall guys for tall girls, but like Rhino said the population of men over 6 feet is small. So if all the short girls are only wanting guys like a whole foot taller then them it makes it harder for us tall girls to find tall men who are single. Obviously anyone can fall in love with anyone but i feel like if you are a short girl you should not be dating someone only because they are tall because personality should also be considered. To sum it up, if you are a short girl you should not be aiming for guys over 6 feet just because they are over 6 feet, doesn't mean you cant date anyone over 6 feet, just don't prioritize it.

OP's height is over 4 inches above average, which is a noticeable difference; most men will consider her and those of her height quite tall for women, as most men are 5'8 to 5'11 in the USA, the average being 5'9. Worldwide, most men, on average, are under 175 cm so imagine how it is for women. Referring to adults, obviously.

Nah everyone is entitled to have a type. If someone prefers tall guys then regardless of their height that's that. Obviously if someone is dating someone solely for one single physical attribute that isn't going to work but that is just basic common sense and can be applied to tall girls as well.

I’m 21 yr old female and 5’11. I do feel like I’m extra picky when dating due to the fact I am tall. In situation-ships that don’t work out I tend to blame it on my height because I’m “too” tall. I do have girl friends that are taller then me and they are super secure with there height so being around them helps. Overall it takes more of a toll on me then people probably think. “Woah your tall” or “Oh wow I didn’t expect you to be that tall”

Bruh I’m 5’9 and I swear people from like 5’7 - 5’9 are in this twilight zone when it comes to talking about height. Cause usually people start considering someone tall or the appearance of tall starting at 5’10 imo. And I’ve heard a lot of people especially women say too short to them is 5’6 and under on average. I never hear anyone say anything about people from 5’7 - ‘9 being too tall or short, we’re just in between ig. Even certain celebrities around my height look taller on photos than compared to their actual height. But then again just my opinion.

I'm a tall girl (5'11) and I haven't really had much trouble with dating, but what I have realized is that more shorter men prefer tall women than taller men prefer tall women. It's a bit confusing, but it is true.

I used to be one of the shortest in my class in middle school and corona hit and I grew about 20 centimeters in a year, came back being the tallest and everybody treated me with more respect, actually crazy.
As someone that is 6’6, i would say that being 6’2/6’3 is probably ideal height for men. When you get any taller than that you enter more of a niche market for girls. Girls like tall guys, but not abnormally tall. Its the same as fit guys vs. bodybuilders.

Im 5’4 and ive dated people from 5’3, all the up to 6 feet. Height has never been a factor. Infact my bf is 5’6 and I much prefer it that way. I cant imagine dating someone taller now. 5’10 girly here! Dating as a tall girl is HARD. Yeah I’m a younger teen girl and 6’0, especially being an athlete and someone with a generally larger build, definitely makes my life in the dating scene more difficult. I’m 6 ft on the dot as a man, but had many friends varied in height some being 5’6 and had horrible luck finding a girl because of this crazy standard. I even had female friends in college saying they’ve only dated guys 6’5 and up lol
