    Finally getting a touch of the recognition that he deserves, Joe is one of the best drummers out there. Truly a pleasure of getting to meet this guy, hang with him and pick his brain for a month. Awesome person

      Definitely agree. He’s definitely an underrated drummer. He plays with both technicality and musicality.

    Joe's the best out there right now because he's literally not satisfied until he's incorporating some kind of technical, syncopated groove

      Idk about "in the world" but his rhythm is spot on and his style is surely unique. a unique drummer is steve clifford from circa survive or darren king of mutemath.

      @charizardmaster13 7 лет назад +6

      idk have you seen him play stuff like vanitys fair and thinking dirty out loud? those fills are insane and so unique hes certainly better than most of the "best drummers" like neil pert and stuff

    Wondering what that ride is. It's got some cluster hammers and its finish looks more like a traditional style. Its most def not the A Custom 2th Anniv you guys listed in the description.

    Search for "No Attention For Solved Puzzles" Drum Playthrough (Joseph Arrington of A Lot Like Birds) and you'll find another playthrough on Joe's actual channel. That video is also insane

    This was really cool but the drumming seems a lot less complex than their previous material. Kind of a bummer.

  • @sharinglungs3226
    @sharinglungs3226 7 лет назад +1

    Very odd composition, the main pattern just seems too upbeat and active with what the rest of the band is playing. The bridge and build up out of the bridge I liked. The fills are pretty basic standard fair.
