@@moltensh4dow506 I disagree, it wasn't nearly as bad as he made it out to be absolutely, but it's a lot like playing a TD except without any of the advantages of a TD (mainly the camo) and most of the time I'd rather just be playing an actual TD, people aren't "losers" because they hate a tank that you like...

Same, the pen for regular ammo kinda sucks, and the accuracy basically forcess you to fight close to medium ranges in a tank who’s relies more on mobility than armor. But so far the amx 30 has been good to me and have already marked it. Can’t same the same to the AMX30B tho.

I think the french tech tree is still one of my favs. Back to the old days, when AMX 13 90 was still tier 8, and there were no other autoloaders, AMX 50 100 and AMX 13 90 are my absolutely boys! I aslo really love the tier 9 Foch when you have a good match making this thing is a little monster. So much fun to play!
It's definitely (imo) the most fun tree (for the person playing it)
I gotta say I always thought the B1 at tier 4 was a powerful tank. It always seemed to bounce every shot with its strange looking armor layout. That and it had a good feeling pew pew gun and decent mobility for a tier 4 heavy tank. The premium version was even better

My most played nation by far; so many fun tanks in these trees!
AMX 12t is still in my heart after the nerfs, way back when it had 6 round autoloader with I think 1s intraclip reload it was nasty (3 marked it with 100%)
Those 50b's remind me of when i started playing WOT. Back then the We liked to play the T-18 (this is before the nerf way back) and you would just point and shoot your way on a sunday drive to the circle. Fun times.
5:15 they buffed up the topspeed. The amx m4 51/54 could always go 40 but they were nerfed I 1.18.1 and let's be honest the French lights as well as all other lights need a buff preferably last year.
I love the French Lights. Both lines are just love. AMX 12T was the first 3 MoE I have ever done. It's nostalgia seeing Gameplay in it. Also I marked the Tier X EBR 105. It's the first 3 MoE on a Tier X for me. I don't have the Tier 8 EBR 75 but I wish I had one so hard. It's look so much fun. I know that the Community don't like this tank but I really really want this tank so hard.
I have an EBR 75 FL 10 and it's my most played tank (7K battles). It's an easy credit maker. You just go yolo rush, die in 1 min and get 50K credits profit. Believe me, if WG sells it right now, you will be waiting for 10+ min to get into the battle, as now you can only have 1 Wheeler per team. You will be waiting for too long to have fun.
Please note one thing. The Premium EBR was only sold 4 times. On mission marathon when they first appeared in this game, in a quick weekend sale few months after the marathon, on a Black Market event (very limited number available in gold auction) on year later, and another Black Market where you could get any lot from previous Black Markets, if you are lucky, for 5K gold.
Now take in consideration that regardless of the fact how rarely it was sold, we still see it almost every battle (when it's full tier 8 MatchMaker). Now imagine what happens to tier 8 MM if WG sells it just once, just for 1 day in Xmas Advent Calendar! :)
@@meglablandata Sure. I wish I had one. But I think WG can sell this tank in a black Market for Gold. Just 10k or so. I am waiting for this tank over 2 years. And I would be really happy to have one. For me it's not bad to wait maybe 5 mins. to get in a Battel. The fun is worth it. I just hope they make this tank available. And I think he is also a good credit maker how you said. I don't really like to fire many HEAT and the EBRs. The Gold is to slow. I only use it in short distance and at well Armored Vehicles.

I find it frustrating that an actual produced tanks Amx 30 are collectors item, not main tech tree.

My 13 75 was my fisr 3rd mark tank, sneaky quick autoloading
so for the foch being better (slightly) than the b, is a combination of multiple things, same armor = better for lower tier, slightly longer interclip reload helps aim time, the 4 clip means you get in get out faster, you fight lower tier (given), and finally because smaller clip = quicker reload

BDR G1 B it's gun is insane at tier 5 you can two or 3 shot almost every tank you'll be fighting except the t7's

I get the tier 8 td amx cd105... and the gun is a dream! 260 pen on standard apcr and godlike 1520 m/s shell velocity, it feels like an e25 on tier 8.
Like many other véhicules, whenever I am fighting against M4 54, it is so dificult to penetrate it, and whenever I am in this véhicule, it has t67 armor... Mobility and gun are good !

I have the EBR 75 with 1 battle played, got it for free from the marathon and took a long break. Can't wait to get the crew on it and bring the stats down a little while I learn xD

QB you should do arty as well. My fav French tank is an SPG, Lorry 155.51 giving me an average win ratio of 56% (57% last month). A top speed of 55kph lets it relocate quickly and a 23.7 specific power-to-weight ratio gets you there almost instantly. I got General in the Frontline game mode a few seasons ago before the last round of hate nerfs. It is not the sort of tank for ram kills but I did win a game ramming a SU-130PM who had just killed my last teammate and was on reload LOL. I was supposed to be the distraction.....
AMX 12t was a fun tank for me. Only machine I ever came close to getting a Fadins medal. Lost the kill in milliseconds

honestly, they made the amx30 more of a flanking support med. Side and rear shots are the only shots you should be making in it.
Some of my best games came from rotating and shifting positions. And some of my worst came from trying to hold lines.
30b just seems like a real downgrade.

before the AMX 30B was removed i played it and got my highest damage game on the Dev Server of a little over 4-5k in 5-10mins of a Karelia match.
What advantage does AMX 50 Foch B have over AMX 50 Foch tier for tier? Couldn't find too many except a bit of gun performance, reload and HP paid with never meeting tier VII's 🤔
the 4 shots on the foch means less time exposed to, so u dont get cought by the 6 shot greed
Why no AMX 50B? Was my first T10 tank, well after the FV215b, but that doesn't count XD
They made the AMX M4 54 a super overpowered heavy tank while giving the kranvan way worse accuracy without buffing it’s terrible pen for the size caliber gun it had defeating the whole purpose of the tank which is to have a great gun with weak chassis armor

I think one of the things about the Foch at t9 rather then t10 is the same as with some of the British compared to American. you have less shots so you spend less time exposed.

The M4 54 is strong with a good player but at least you have a chance against it. It’s all or nothing with the armor. You have two weak spots on top and you have to be careful about how you angle your front. Strong but not OP.

In the last game, I really hate when your teammates just camp at that A4/A5 area. You got to get down, otherwise the enemy will just go hulldown right in front of you. It really frustrates the living hell out of me when I am the only player who goes down and then your team doesn't even manage to shoot the incoming tanks. Really hate how like a lot of players always simply just want to camp, especially those mediums. Like dude, if you wanna camp there, at least go play a TD. Camping mediums are often the reason a game is lost, cos medium tanks are not made for camping.

i am one of those tomatos who is tanking amx30 winratio. Cant seem to make it work. didnt know it was nerfed that explains a bit. seems like mobility is the only plus of this tank

This might be a strange or w/e request QB, but is there any chance of videos for the lower tiers and also kind of 'back to basics' stuff? I've been on and around WoT for 10 years, but I took a long ol' break, and I've come back and everything is weird and strange ^^;
Well... there's more gold spam at T4, the tech trees have all changed and Equipment 2.0 has shifted what I thought I knew about equipping things. The Lemmingtrains and people not playing as a team is just the same as ever haha!
gold spam at tier X is even worse. Freaking worst tier to play at, it is so freaking unbalanced. WG really needs to introduce a skillbased mm, at the very least for tier X.

AMX 30 is good because it better than most IX med, while the X version is not that good compare to other X meds.

QB why is the M V Y having such a terrible winrate??? When it seems like it should be as good as something like a a conquerer cause it has an insane turret with same gun depression as conquerer and good DPM still aswell I'm not understanding it lol
Weak spot gets penned easily on top of the turret, Ive hit it with some rather Derp innacurate shots, also not many people Ive seen run the Yoh tanks, and when I have, its been a very bad game for them, As for the S.Conqueror (which I assume you mean), that has Additional Spaced Armor and a Reinforced weak point where the Cupola is, also alot of S.Conq players will crunch the gold rounds at you lol
That being said, there are probably some absolute champs in the M-"x"-Y tanks

T62a is a collector tank and still has terrible WR. So that point on the amx30 isn't valid.
After the M4 54 buff, I thought WG was moving to France.
The AMX 30 win rate is good because it is arguably one of the best tier IX meds in the game and its far far superior to the 30B. I have 1,600+ battles in my AMX 30 with a 54% win rate and 2 MoE's and I'm only a 1400 Wn8 player. Surprisingly good turret armour and crazy DPM, absolute beast of a tank
So it's better to take AMX 30 instead of AMX 30B ?
