I had a ton of fun building this project with you! These Stratos can get down! Especially for a relatively small air volume! I hope everyone enjoys the design and video :)

Okay, this is beautiful work ! The only problem is, you have to take up a whole trunk or a good chunk of a minivan, to use it. I'm more interested in a box which is custom molded and fit into an irregular area, specif to one particular vehicle (still leaving a lot of usable space).... yet it still needs to be perfectly sized and tuned. If you can do all that, and still make it as pretty as the box in this build, now that will be super impressive.

Truck boxes I think you need to do more truck boxes please. Under seat low profile whatever you like.

Fantastic work. My only modification would be to split the port on the left and right side for better symmetry but either way looks great.

Mark, this design is how I am planning to build my box for 4 CT Sound 6.5 subs. In doing so, would you recommend 2 separate ports or one large port.
Nice box. Now how are you gonna hook it up to the amplifier?
Does this thing have a place for the wires or is it just a pretty box?
Don't get me wrong. The design looks great but it seems a lot of detail went into so many things but no info on where the wire connections go.
Isn't that a consideration?

Wow tats nice work, I have some left over birch plywood from a furniture project I did for my wife so I was looking @ ur videos to build a subbox for my 03 suburban went on ur website & saw 2 designs I liked but priced high for me so I'll have to keep look to see if I can build one some how. It's just a little confusing on getting a tuned 30hz ported box with 2 10's @3.0 cu. Ft spec of speakers.

Looks great and I'm sure it sounds great. Only thing is that I wouldn't trust the plexi and accent piece to be press fit in, didn't look like you used very much force to put them in, maybe some hidden double sided tape in small amount so it can still come out if you need it to.

This style of box works great. But if you really like to slam you will notice the sub farthest from the port is working a little harder.A central port or 2 side ports gives the subs equal stress and a cleaner sounding bass.
If that is happening to you, that means you built the box wrong. Placement of port will not change how much the sub moves. Thats idiotic.

Your custom boxes are the best I've seen. you are awesome!!. I would love to have your skills to build a custom sub box in my 2011 Camry SE for Two Image Dynamics 8" subs and One NVX 5-channel amp.
What LED strips were those? They seemed very long and very thin, contouring super easily into there

Have you guys ever thought about selling the unassembled box kits?
I would have designed the box with one speaker t-line and the other as an enclosure. Some math and you can have the sine waves match with and find the dimensions. The 2 styles should give you a wider range from the t-line low and enclosure high peaks.

with this one I would have ported only one sub and sealed the second one. In other words the brace piece wouldn't have 4 holes in it, it would be just one plank. With this design I would expect to get the best of both worlds. Am I wrong ?

What would you say produces stronger bace, two 8" sub's, or one 10" sub.
A single 10" will go lower, both because of its lower Fs, and the fact that it has the whole box volume to itself.
