There are several 'tropes' about the entirety of Christianity, not just angels that people, even Christians, tend to believe that actually come from...basically pop culture (all be it *ancient* pop culture). Here are several things that people think Christians believe that, well, some do, but these things are NOT taught by the Bible OR Judaism and never have been.
1. The grim reaper is the angel of death.
The grim reaper is a Celtic legend, people just merged the two ideas at some point. The angel of death was never described in the Bible at all. The Judaism side of thing might have a description that I don't know about, but in the Bible, he was just a presence that blanketed the land of Egypt and was basically never mentioned again.
2. The idea that Satan rules and controls hell.
That idea has no basis in scripture, Christian or Judaism whatsoever. That idea came from Dante’s books, an Italian writer from the 14th century. Biblically hell is punishment for sin if you don't get right with God and *_Satan is destined for torment there too_*
3. Humanoid angels had wings.
The humanoid angles in the Bible are *not* described as having wings. That idea has been around a long time but did not come from the Bible. Angels that appear human in the Bible may glow with power and float in the sky but they just look like men. In many of the stories in the Bible, they very simply look human. Judaism writings elaborate further on types and hierarchies of angels but I don't think the humanoid ones having wings is in their descriptions either. (at least that I'm aware of)

Read about the angels in the burning bush and the one that leads them through the desert. Both of those have scripture to back it up. And Christianity and Judaism are not the same. One contains Gentiles and believe that Jesus is the son of God. The other does not and still waiting for a Messiah. The whole new Testament will back up the fact that they are not the same.
Christianity and Judaism are two religions that both in fact worship the same God. The problem is that in order to get to Heaven's one must be baptised in Jesus name. Children and Christians all go straight to Heaven's but other faiths including Judaism do not go to Heaven unless someone prays for them to go to Heaven's. This has lead to family's being separated because children go to Heaven but the Adults do not. So everyday I pray for everyone to go to Heaven's in Jesus name.

After Jesus, you were "baptized" by the Holy Spirit. But keep praying, although, I don't believe that praying to get nonbelievers into heaven is in scripture though.
