Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

While I love SIEGE, I find it funny that the best Optimus we've ever really gotten at retail was immediately rendered obsolete by Earthrise, doing everything great about it better. The only real downside about ER is that there are some Quality control issues that vary by figure and the windows jutting out in robot mode.
However, I'm willing to accept the small compromise as necessary to fit the Matrix feature and sleek Truck mode.
Nah the only thing it really does better in my opinion is a more show accurate alt mode. I still think the engineering and overall robot mode design is way better on siege prime.
I personally hate the Earthrise one. Like, the obsolete Matrix he can’t even hold, the gray on the legs visible from all angles, the fake grill, the lackluster trailer and the face is unacceptable.
Classics Optimus will always be my favourite mold. Something about it is just awesome
While the new Earthrise is by far my favorite toy of G1 Prime now, I will always hold a soft spot for the original Classics mold. It's not a perfect G1 Prime, but it's a damn fun mid-2000's Optimus Prime toy.
pretty good, but the way the panels hang off the arms have always low key annoyed me. That and the fact there's no way to hide Prime's head without the windvane.
NGL, even after Earthrise, I STILL much prefer the '06 Optimus and Henkei Megatron. I find the constant revisits to G1 boring and stale, and the never-ending attempt at making the most cartoon accurate Optimus and Megatron frustrating. I miss the days when they could get bolder and more interesting, like with RID '01 and Unicron Trilogy. Classics evokes the iconography of Optimus without being boringly slavish to the '80s.
I painted over much of the yellow. G1 had yellow "arrows" on the arms, so I reapplied yellow to a small area near the hands, in shape of an arrow. I painted the yellow vents on the forehead, straight-up silver, which worked fine! Now, he's nearly "perfect", for my tastes.

There was a Takara version of the Classics Prime as Cloud Optimus Prime which is the classics mould but with G1 animation colours. I've got it as well as Siege and Earthrise Prime.

Prime has the yellow triangles on his forearms, which is probably where the yellow on the arms of Classics Prime came from.
IMO, the windvane on the back looks better if you flip it around so the front is facing the ground. It kind of has that Zelda Hylian Shield thing going on then. And you can attach the rifle to it to create a pseudo smokestack effect over the shoulders.
The truck kibble on the forearms is the one thing I can't easily ignore, though as far as it goes i guess it could have been worse. At least they rotate so they don't extend beyond the hands.
IIRC the smokestack gun was also black, but it had a little silver paint to make it pop a bit.
AMAZING COMPARISON VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The yellow on Classics Prime's arms was meant to homage the yellow arrow stickers on the arms of G1 Prime. Siege Prime's best weapons storage in truck mode is the peg hole in the middle top section of the robot mode legs, which you forgot to transform. Amazing video Jcc2224, I just subscribed. ;D

When he was brand new, fresh off the line as a kid in 2005, those clear hinges on the arm I never had any issues. I can see why after 15 years old you’d be worried, the grays on him are already yellowing

To be honest, though that forearm 'kibble' really bugs me, I still have a soft spot for the guy and I'm still rather fond of his weaponry in particular, even more than the Siege Prime, who is, basically, a retail, Voyager sized MP -10.

Siege and Earthrise are all good figures, and accurate to the original G1, I find a lot of them pretty boring visually.
Yeah I get a more Armada or like anime, realistic, modern vibe to it

I'd have to compare Siege Megs to my United Megs, so I dunno if I wanna do that since the United is painted perfectly. I don't plan on getting Siege Sideswipe though.

Classics megaton was cool but not a good representation of G1 megs at all it was cool that he was a gun though

You can kinda get a pseudo-gun mode out of Siege Megs, but honestly I think him being a tank is way more practical and cool and fits his character more. I think it's worth it for sure.

I always thought Classics Optimus would've made a good update to Armada/Energon/Cybertron Optimus (aside from the head sculpt) but he's way too sleek and angular to be a representation of the original G1 character. I got the Deluxe version instead, which had a really terrible vehicle mode but a pretty good robot mode.
Who swings an axe like that? Anyone who's ever used an axe presumingly considering that's how the physics work lol.
It would be cool if the new version had the matrix of leader ship but luckily we got earth rise Optimus prime that fixes that

Lol I never liked the yellow trim on the arms either mine started to flake off as a kid so I just the yellow paint off completely
"Who holds an axel at the tip of the handle?" Literally everyone who uses an axe when chopping with it. You use the weight of the axe head to chop through the object that needs to be chopped.
That's just for a brute-force chop. When you're fighting you'd want to have a center-grip on the axe as well to be able to guide and control it better.
I've actually compared both of my figures as well. If anyone claims we're getting less for more, I point them to the classics figure.
SS Jazz is a scout that you pay $20 for.

Cyber Silver Outside of size classes being big enough to warrant their price tags, scale is never something I cared about. I couldn't care less about how toys of characters are out of scale when put beside others from the same line.
Now, in the cases of SS and Siege, if the scale was made so we got bigger leaders, and that meant a more deluxe sized SS Jazz, then I'd have no problem.
Would also not have a problem if the size classes did not take a $5 price increase.

The battle damage isn't too bad for me. But i would prefer to not have it. I wish the battle damage or clean versions were 50/50 variants so people can decide what they want. I have ultra magnus and i think I'll leave him as is. I'm not confident enought to use acotonr or model paint.
I do believe Hasbro is making a special version without battle damage down the line.

Man, this must be destiny, I was watching my two Optimus Prime figures and I was thinking very loudly: "man, what a big cool mother@#* is Prime, I adore him!" And I was thinking of him all day. So it's very surly that you uploaded a video of two Primes. By the way, one of those Primes was the Transformers Cyberverse Ultimate Class Optimus Prime ( what a long name for God's sake!) And I was wondering: what do you think of him? I think that it's a solid figure, except for the Matrix Mega Shot gimmick, which can be troublesome for some kids who wants to play with him, but, overall a good figure. What do you think?
I really like the Ultimate Cyberverse Prime. I wish his hands didn't have truck mitts on it, and the Matrix gimmick is a little hair-triggered and awkward, but it's a fun big figure, no regrets getting it for $30. Him and Ultra Shockwave are the winners of this line so far.
@@Jcc2224 I would like to buy a Shockwave figure of cyberverse. I know a lot of people have problems with his alt mode, but I kinda like the idea that he always has a cybertronian alt mode. Also the figure that I would love to have is Megatron

That camera is a little to close might want to pull back for future videos.
I personally enjoy reviews where I can always be getting a good look at the figure, so I always film them at this distance. I have no plans to change that.

I hold an axe by the bottom, creates more leverage for swinging.
But beyond swinging you don't want to hold it at the bottom. If you're just holding it, using it to block, or holding it with two hands. It looks fine in chopping poses, but weird all the rest of the time.

I really like the classics prime. But that figure goes for 40 to 80 dollers so I’m just going to get the siege prime.

My man Classics Prime is an awesome toy but I'm not gunna sit here and act like the excess yellow and arm kibble ISN'T a flaw. It's a review, I gotta cover everything.
Meg's giant wings are a thousand times worse.
Look I know the arm kibble is a bit of a flaw I was very angry at other things before watching this I don't see the problem with the yellow paint i don't think it's a problem if I can't think of a reason it shouldn't be there but it can't think of a reason it should be there too make of that what you will
Reason #1 the yellow shouldn't be there: Optimus Prime has never had that much yellow on him and it looks weird

They put it there for the sake of making it different. In my opinion the repaints of him with less yellow look a thousand times better. The Age of Extinction version is my preferred.

"How far we've come" is kind of an ironic statement here since, as I'm sure you're aware, there's a reason they kept going back to the well and reissuing the original Classics Optimus as late as 2015 (and actually wasn't there another one in the Platinum line after that?) and it's because the quality of the Generations figures didn't improve, it declined. Siege actually represents a "regression" to 2006 levels of build quality and I'm all for it.
When it comes to clever engineering, sculpt, and design, I think we've progressed, but you're right when it comes to build quality and durability finally going back to an older time - Leader Overlord feels more like a Cybertron figure and Leader Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus feels like a knockoff in comparison.

That's quite the disrespect towards the amazing engineering and design that goes into many modern Transformers toys. Besides the die cast a lot of G1 toys weren't that well produced and were prone to breaking, I think Transformers toys are better designed as toys now than they used to be. Out of all my G1 toys I have one of the only ones I'm not afraid of breaking is my G1 Hot Rod.
