One solution ... for text ignore both generators. Work with text manually in Freepik, Kittl or Canva. You can precisely layout the text and choose fonts.
i do pattern designing and was happy with MJ but then i saw ur video about Tile options( vertical, Horizontal Brick) in Ideogram, so i decided to give it a try and paid pro yearly sub. BUT immediately i regret it ! Pros of Ideogram (for Tile and in general): 1-its has more Tiling option compare to MJ (until now) i.e. ver. & horizontal brick option 2-its abit faster than MJ Cons: 1- Tile works ONlY in ver. 1 ! 2-the results are ALL similar ! similar color pallets, similar results ! 3-ID Copies designs from net and no matter what u type it gives u same result as before ! sometimes there is designers name on !! 4-the ref. photo in ID is really bad and u cant use link ref. similar to MJ where u simply paste img link 5-the credit strategy in ID is another negative, i use Quality which cost me 3cr for 4similar results !! and had to spend many cr to get Something useful !
For POD designs I start with Ideogram. However sometimes it struggles and I can get better results from Midjourney. Ideogram is definitely better with text.
Hi Philip! Great video, and great job comparing both platforms fairly and scientifically. You're nudging me toward Ideogram. If the goal is to get POD-ready art in one fell swoop through AI, then I would have to agree that MJ is not there yet, and Ideogram is better. However, I rarely (never?) expect to get text correct in an AI image. I enjoy choosing the font and the layout, and I definitely go through multiple re-runs and inpainting to get the graphics just right. Thanks for keeping us all up to date with the latest technology.
I tend to like graphic t shirt output from midjourney. But text is so behind. Wish they would get up to ideogram since I pay for it. Waiting patiently 😊

If they combined forces they'd be unstoppable

I think you'd almost be best off with kittl. It's both easy to get pod graphics AND their typography layouts/ effects are on another level
@@PhilipAnders Been thinking about it for a long time. Great idea.
I think Midjourney nice for seamless pattern more. Thanks for sharing new update always.
It is great for patterns for sure! Thanks for watching!
MidJourney requires more prompt engineering to fit tshirts
yes it definitely does. I am working on a proper prompt guide for midjourney pod
I thought ideogram is less popular! I need to decide one for my printing poster business! I guess i go with ideogram then
hey Philip,
can u plz compare the " Tile " command in both? im thinking of try Ideogram but Tiling is a pro version only !
Thanks For this Video
Thx for watching!

Hopefully the next version can do the text as well as ideogram or better
Here is to hoping!! :)
Trying Leonardo AI. They are the new Kings okay
Midjourney is infinitely better than all the image AIs
Leonardo phoenix is best for text
Ideogram style are to kiddy
Yup, nowhere near as good as Ideogram...
