Chris, 60, who spent much of his childhood living in a council flat in Leeds, entered the Dorset House Draw, supporting BBC Children in Need, without telling Jules or their three children-who were utterly speechless to learn of his win. A week before the life-changing news, the couple had been discussing having to downsize their current family home to keep costs manageable.
