He drink Sake way too much. This was believed to be a relation to his believe of Bishamonten where the world can never progress without war and he proceed to enjoy war, drinking, and reciting sutras whenever he able to. I read a novel titled "Oda Nobunaga", in it's last volume, it was mentioned that due to that believe, Kagetora drink a lot during his death day when he hosted a party after doing war council (his war against Nobunaga). During the party, he went to the toilet and never came back. Hours of waiting, his pages went to check on him only to found him lying sick. He was quickly moved to his room and there he took his last breath. His physician examined his dead body and found that he might had a sudden sickness due to his drinking habit and the fact that he drink way too much on that day.
Truly a sad death for a man known as the God of War. But at least, he died firmly gripping to his believe.

@@yojasmagic I'm surprised to have a disagreement with him. Mainly about 'S latest appearance as dlc in guilty gear stride. Mainly the one about Bridget he's transition into a she as one of her fail endings in the arcade mode. Tbf the arcade mode acts like a visual novel for the various endings you can get. And the transition end is a fail ending. You can watch the video and read my comment on it if you need more context.
