I have a book made for passwords. But, I enter the name of the company & website in pen and then I use pencil for the userid and password. It's gotten a little messy over the years, but I've probably been using it for 5 years or so. BE CAREFUL carrying it with you at all times. You may want to consider just taking a picture with your phone of each page & storing them in a special folder. That way you can always have them, but at least if you lost your phone they could still be protected. If you happened to lose your backpack & that book is in there, you risk someone being able to get ahold of everything. I know you're careful with your backpack...but, it's just a thought. GOOD LUCK with your new Etsy shop!!!
I use a proper password management software with secure passwords. It autofills my stuff and I don't need to search for anything, and it's encrypted and all that.
This type of system could also work as a paper backup for your phone contacts. Great idea! I have been using an old address book I bought at a thrift store that is technically designed for tracking Christmas cards, anniversaries, and birthdays. But this is such a neat idea! It's like a portable Rolodex! TFS! 😊
I also keep a small list in a note on my phone. I have to change my passwords for work every few months, so I put those particular passwords there so I'll remember them easier. Plus it's easy to change them there, too. But I still would like to have a paper backup--ever notice phone batteries tend to die right when you need your phone the most? Or is that just me? lol
This by far is the most ingenious ways to store passwords. Just purchased the printable and have the card case in my amazon cart. Thanks Kristin!! Up until now, I have put them down in a notebook or saved them in my notes section of my phone.
This is really a great idea Kristin! I have a 20 plus page document in my computer that I keep... easy to change a password and print out another sheet... easy to copy and paste my passwords when I need to as well. I have then sorted by category (Entertainment= Hulu, Netflix) (Social Media= Facebook, Instagram) (Financial= Banks, etc.). It took a lot of time to compile this, but I find it easy to maintain now that it is done.
Peter Pauper Press makes a internet password book. I sells for about $6 on Amazon. I hadn't thought about making my own. You are so creative. I like your idea too.
I have an excel spread sheet i print out, a happy planner notebook at home, and some basic ones I use daily on a notes page on my phone. Lol. I loooove this printable. So cute!
So cute! I use a pocket Filofax that I found at a thrift shop for $2. I just use a sheet per account. I have been doing this for about 5 or 6 years now and it has been working well. It’s similar to your setup but different. 🙂
I have well over 100 logins (186 to be exact). This would take way too much time and effort for me. It's very cute, but I prefer the app I use. WAY easier AND it generates passwords for me so I don't have to come up with them myself. Nice work! I am glad you found something that works for you.
This is a fantastic ideas. I have followed it exactly. I have been searching for a system. We came very close to putting all our passwords on a supposedly safe web site. It has made me feel uneasy. This will work better for me.
Just as you mentioned, I use a small Mead notebook that has chicken scratch all over each page as I've changed my passwords. I'm looking forward to using your printable and getting this password mess cleaned up. Thanks for the help!
Love the easy way it can be changed. One suggestion, I'm going to add a card for security questions an answers, If for some reason you need to recover your account. But if you have the password part then I guess it is not necessary. Otherwise this is perfect. I'm also a big diskbound notebook 📒 user, and almost was going to switch from my binder method, but this is much better.
I like this idea.I've been wanting a similar one myself but you are missing a key part to this.where would you put the answers to the security questions they ask in case you forgot your password.sometimes they may require you to answer these anyways to get into your account.my work is like this since I have to change passwords lots of times.thanks
I would write those on the back of the card. That is something I very seldom have to deal with, so I didn't include that on my printable. But, I would definitely write it on the back if I needed to.
How do you store your online passwords?

I print out a list. The list is stored on the computer as well. The computer itself also saves passwords too.

Yes!!! They sure do. And, me switching phones and giving my daughter my phone for games then realizing those passwords aren't on my phone anymore. 😬

What a great find and idea...

We are all different. What works for one, may not work for others.
Absolutely. I really love how you did it. It almost makes me want to do it because it’s so cute. :-)
Would a password manager on my phone be a better alternative?
I love this so much! I was pretty basic and just using a few notes pages the back of my planner but this is going to be so much better!!!
Thank you so so much.

Great idea. Can you get the download with different clip art
Right now, that is the only design I have. I am trying to do things slowly. I will eventually add other designs as well.
I love your channel!! I love your idea of organizing passwords. I use a small notebook and it is frustrating to find what I am looking for!
Thank you so so much. ;)
Great idea- did you print your printables on cardstock? If so, which printer, do you use? thanks.
Genius!!!! I think of sudden death or incapacitation all the time too!!
thank you. ;)
I've been admiring the colors in your comforter. Can you share where you got it? Thanks for all the tips you share!
Thank you. It is a Pottery Barn quilt. I talked about it in my July favorites video. I have a link to it in that video too if it is still available.
Thank you so much 😊👍

Are you still using this password keeper system? It sounds like something I would like to try. Is it still working well?
I sure am.
@@TheGoldProject I think I am going to give that a try. I just need to get our printer hooked up or a new one so I can get the printable.
You're a genius!!!

@@TheGoldProject I would add three lines on the back of the card for the security questions
this is so cute
I notice you still haven’t found your ring 😔
Never use Beefstew for a Password
It's not Stroganoff 🤣🇦🇺 Sorry.
