Nick, in australia is the “heavy cream” the equivalent of Paul’s pure cream in the carton? We also have local dairy creams but the Paul’s you can get easily at Coles or Woollies. Thanks for sharing. 🤤
Hello, in Australia heavy cream is also thickened cream. So long as the fat content is 35%+ then its classed as heavy cream. If you go to his website and look up his "Boston Cream Pie Cake" for example, it uses heavy cream and in the ingredients image you can see is using thickened cream ;).
Please help! I made this cake and my layers came out thin and didn't come out fluffy or puff up. Yes my baking powder is fresh and new so I don't know what went wrong.
1) Do not open the door of the oven until 30 to 35 minutes of the time has gone. 2) Make sure your over is preheated at least 15 minutes before putting the cake into the oven 3) You can use a smaller tray next time for better results.
Make cake balls with cake. Put the cake in blender and made crumbs. Then add some melted chocolate. And Make balls. It is good idea for the waste cake.

Nope. It elevates the chocolate flavor and makes the cake incredibly moist :) quite a common technique in chocolate cakes.
