I was thinking about getting this heater and then i saw in the product description , not for acrylic tanks. why do you think that is? Maybe it could melt the acrylic being there is no guard?
Just keep an eye on the sensors. I had an issue with the sensors coming out of place and to the top measuring air temperature, this then sent the titanium heaters to go on full blast nearly killing all my fish. This is why I always use thermostat heaters set 2c higher as a fail safe.

I will be very careful for sure. I may even add a second suction cup just in case or attach it to the stand so it can’t move much
@@AquatikGuru I've used 3M sticky backed cable organisers just above the waterline so there's no stress on the suction cups.
