Yazi sis I tried making these ne and when they were in the oven load shedding happened and I've traumised since but it wasnt with custard I will try again following this recipe
I like the idea of nt mixing all the liquids in one place instead u separate them.. I will definitely do it that way cz heeeeyy.. I mixd them it ws watery
@@zaziasoluhle524 it must be cake flour because of the baking powder. I don't think self raising flour requires baking powder, that's why it's called self raising.
For 12 cups of flour 3 cups of sugar u can do 4 if you are using brown sugar 5 tablespoons of baking powder 1 kg Rama 8 eggs 2 cups plain yogurt 1 litre ultra Mel 3 tablespoons of vanilla
Snowflake is the best for scones , sasko for anything that needs yeast, rolls bread, and for biscuits I use golden cloud, it gives a crunch that I never get when using other flour ,
You should pre heat it and bake on 120 , mine is a big one it can hold up to 4 pans , so don’t max yours or else it burn rather bake for longer that way it will cook evenly, I started with a 2 plate and I used 120
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoons baking powder
150g margarine
1/2 cup plain yogurt/ amasi
1/2 custard
2 eggs
1 tablespoons vanilla
Bake for 20 minutes 160°

The eggbrush is that one left after pouring it on flour or u made another egg, and flour u use cake or self raising flour.

Yes but add gradually don’t make the dough too wet
