Sotarks is a good mapper, the reason why everybody says he sucks at mapping is because he maps PP maps, guve his other maps a try, he has also made really good maps

Buddy Grain depends on what you practice and what your definition of read is, I used to really struggle with the tapping rhythm of them but I learnt to get used to them by playing them more.
Ofcourse it's not bad, it's trying to be a very clean cut, polished map and sotarks is already criticising on a pretty high level because his understanding of those kinds of maps is on a pretty high level
I realize this an old video, but Idk why modders feel like roasting the maps they mod (I've had similar experiences)? In my eyes it is just not professional at all and destroys motivation rather than enforcing it.
Roasting is only possible if the map is flawed also sotarks streams are for entertainment so he's making fun of it on stream. His modding is very helpful and polite for the most part though. But yes the mapping scene kinda sucks for newcomers since many mappers have a huge ego

But the funny thing is that just when I losing interest in the game I got my first BN, and soon came the second. So I ranked a map and then stopped playing. Now I'm playing more and also back to some mapping but still gotta remember how to map since it has been 5yrs.
