    3-3を2回飛んで優勝でした。3Aの練習に取り組んだら、ジャンプが飛べなくなり、その後は引退時期もはっきりしませんでした。16歳でまだ若いのに残念です。彼女の出身地の道路は「マイズナー通り」と命名され、地元では大歓迎だった様です。可愛い顔してますね💕

    Kimmie to Sasha " If you don't want the gold I'll take it". Kimmie has so much energy in this program and she was solid on her jumps. Wish her career was longer.

    I swear, Peggy is totally giving Kimmie Meissner the Elaine Zayak "you're not my favorite" treatment here with her commentary. Peggy was clearly not thrilled that her non-preferred Americans beat out her favored American ice princesses (Sasha Cohen and Roz Sumners, respectively) with their nonstop barrage of triple jumps.

    Her toe isnt really a toe loop of her combinations... I dislike her technique.. But I love how fast she rotates in the air..

    • @GaryGarlic
      @GaryGarlic 3 года назад +1

      @@Person-mh6xq she does a toe axel after her flip and lutz which doesn’t qualify as a 3/3. A toe loop after a triple looks much different.

    She really was the 00's version of Tara Lipinski...was she a good skater? Yes. But was she a better skater than Sasha Cohen. Objectively, no. (I'm not talking about at this competition but overall.)

    • @lexismith8325
      @lexismith8325 6 лет назад +9

      rlopen13 no, but Sasha Cohen legitimately did about 3 clean LPs in her life. Being a better skater doesn’t matter if you can’t deliver.

    • @zb6070
      @zb6070 5 лет назад

      sasha can afford to make mistakes from her buffer due to better spins, spirals, pcs, in most competitions kimmie wasn't that consistent either. @@lexismith8325

      Piznoc Tsauo A little bit of stretch here, but at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi with Yuna vs Adelina. Many still can’t figure out how Yuna didn’t win.

      joejoematic Well she did win Nationals the following year and the 4CC. As someone else has said, “US ladies skaters today can only dream to win those three titles and go to the Olympics.”

      More like she had a VERY small window to make her mark - Mao and Yu-Na weren’t age eligible until the season after this one. Once they hit the senior scene, it was always going to be much harder for Kimmie to win. I’ve always thought she deserved credit for making the most of the opportunity she was given here.

    While Kimmie had zero artistry, she has superior jumping techniques. And her speed was quite noticeable But does she have superior presentation? No. Kimmie may have some strengths, but she does have weakness, like her competitor who has superior artistry and presentation. But I have to say that Kimmie have seen better days. Like Sasha did.

    Meissner was a jumper. But NEVER a good skater!!Sasha was a good skater.Also , I never respected athletes, who wins one world championship or Olympic and after that , never wins nothing at all & disappears!! Kimmie was exactly like that .
    I still prefer that Sasha won here...😕
