Hi, our NOISE app is made with JUCE, which is a cross-platform framework, and our goal is to make NOISE as accessible as possible on all platforms as soon as we can. At the moment, fundamental limitations in the Android platform mean that it isn’t possible to publish NOISE for Android, but we hope to see that change in the future.
@@WeAreROLI Android as a platform actually has far less limitations on publishing apps than iOS, even IF you're talking about the App Store vs. the Google Play Store. Your argument makes no sense. Unless, that is, Google won't let it on their store, in which case, I'd say they're most likely justified. On Android devices, you don't even need to download apps from an app store, you can just get apps directly from websites of their creators, which is impossible on iOS without jailbreaking.

I would definitely buy this if it worked with Android, or via windows. I realise there are issues with this for Roli, but it would be great if they could be solved. You are losing money. I would add I bought the seaboard rise 49 a few months back and love it. Innovative technology and beautiful design. I really applaud and support what ROLI have brought to music tech. However I am reluctant to invest in Apple gear no matter how much I'd like to invest in Blocks for their 'carry anywhere' portability......and they look like great fun too.
You can bring this around everywhere in your pocket with your phone. But I would get the light pad block M because the regular one is as hard as cement.
i thought the same, like you can control some things and it's pretty cool and intuitive, but it doesn't compare to having a good keyboard wich can give you a lot more expression for your music

Funny how you need a touch enabled device to pair another touch enabled device to have the innovative touch functionality to eventually play music, which to begin with, could be worked around to work with initially just your phone, equipped with said touch interface. Before one of you starts bashing, yeah i realize that phone screens are not velocity sensitive, but this seems like a long and expensive way around the problem. And wait, isn't the 3D touch on said "ios" devices pretty close to capturing different integrity of pressure? All that said, i must add, it IS cool though. I'd have it if i had $200 bucks to spare. idk, cellphones are not the best thing to play live as the touch effect is slightly delayed after the real touch, and on music, the rigor about the tempo is not respected, unless you're playing some sort of ambient stuff or something you don't give a fuck if it doesn't start right on time, and the block is synchronised to the phone, having the same delay, so I find it more difficult to play it correctly, as I've already tried playing and recording with my cellphone and it was not that easy. Correct me if I'm wrong
Is the NOISE app available on pc? Like, if I were to buy the seaboard+blocks, would I be able to get full functionality out of them without the use of a phone?
Hmmm I'm not sure why a potential customer would want to purchase the additional hardware. It seems to me like all of those capabilities should be possible with a smart phone, and are definitely possible with a tablet, especially considering the 3D touch functionality of newer iPhones. Being an android user, I can't use this software anyway.
Hi Nick, BLOCKS use our 5D touch surface technology, giving you far more potential expressiveness when you perform compared to a normal touch screen. Check out our Seaboards to see what we mean!
Hi, I think that this is a very cool device. I would love to have it, but I wonder if it's a good idea to buy Roli Block as my first MIDI controller, or maybe some other device, My budget is limited to one.
App store say the app got in app purchases, but I cant find them :(. I guess you are following how novation launchpad app does it? Never the less I like this much better, the dragging is so amazing. So I wanna buy more sound packs before the BLOCK I just purchases arriwe.

Can you import your own sounds? If not then it's basically just playing a song and recording it.
Is the NOISE app available on pc? Like, if I were to buy the seaboard+blocks, would I be able to get full functionality out of them without the use of a phone?
Too bad they haven't added support to this for the last 3 years. Unbelievable that such an epic company like this wen't bankrupt.
Do u have to plug it into a computer to edit the music
are there any plans to release for andriod?
i want this!!!!
Wow!!!
You should make it possible to connect the Roli blocks to Abelton live.
Pls?!?!?!
Hi, I think that this is a very cool device. I would love to have it, but I wonder if it's a good idea to buy Roli Block as my first MIDI controller, or maybe some other device, My budget is limited to one.
It would be a great profit the app was available for android users.

Hi - this might help answer some of your questions: support.roli.com/article/using-the-lightpad-block-with-desktop-apps/
umm... couldnt you just do with out the add on and just use the ios display as a capasative touch midi?
App store say the app got in app purchases, but I cant find them :(. I guess you are following how novation launchpad app does it? Never the less I like this much better, the dragging is so amazing. So I wanna buy more sound packs before the BLOCK I just purchases arriwe.
Hi, various soundpacks for purchase will be on their way over the next couple of months!
