- We got to drive Cupra's brand-new and ultra-rare supercar, the Dark Rebel!
Sergi went all the way to Barcelona in order to drive the only model of the vehicle that's been created.
It's a two-seater futuristic sports car that has scissor doors, headlights inside the bodywork and a gaming style steering wheel. Let us know what you think of the car in the comments!

Quite the impressive styling exercise from Cupra. A lot to like on the exterior. Could be their answer to the Ferrari FF if they took it forward
I love how fast some of the automatic components moved. Usually everything automatic is frustratingly slow.

Totally loved it! Especially how you could turn the steering wheel and the car kept going straight!
The design of Concept is fire👌 well done Cupra. That’s how i imagine sports car in the future. Only wheels could look a bit better😃👍

Just got the Cupra Formentor , only been made available in Australia for 12 months. Awesome car.
I also have the formentor, it's much more realisticly priced than whatever this car will be priced at in 80 years when it's ready for the 0.1% of the population to buy

I remember coming up with the idea of that kind of body-color lighting, back when l had a friend who is a Car-Designer.
The car sounded like a rickety old boat on the inside…hope the working version has doors that open a bit quicker in case of fire or other dangers like getting out to an ambulance when the glass on the seat stabs you in the ribs when the airbags deploy 😂
Amazing stuff, a slow moving LED, actually I've got one of these, its called a PC and it moves about as fast.
Awesome and cool.Made me wonder though what will happen to all the glass in a crash.

Most certainly looks like a gamers fantasy car. The beauty of ev's is everything from the floor up is whatever you want so if you want to build a car around your gamer chair no worries.
So much going on design wise.
Performance wise, under 4s doesn't give this shape justice.
It's a really interesting design study, but that's all it is. A concept car who's only function is to try out new design ideas and gauge the public's reaction, it's not like anyone can buy this "brand-new supercar".
Must be so much fun to work on a project like this, where you as a designer/engineer can go wild without having to worry about safety, legality, easy to mass produce yadda yadda yadda
