Insanely historically inaccurate, uninspired-bad maps especially at launch, horrendous 'attrition system' with the gunplay and vehicles that now had an ammo cap, neutered teamwork with a revive animation and the ability to get ammo/med pouches by yourself, no more awesome pilot and tanker classes that also made it even more immersive (they couldn't even temporarily change the uniform in vehicle like BF3/BF4), complete absence of the French and Belgian Army, really dumb weapon customization/upgrade system, absolute baren wasteland for content for the first year of launch with quite a bit of recycled BF1 content in the form of map assets and weapons, battle royale that took away resources that nobody asked for, absolutely egregious "war stories," a weaker sound design than BF1, shitty ragdolls on account of the downed 'state'/animation, I could keep going. This game was literally the runner up to 2042, at least half the development team had never even worked on a BF game before and a LOT of the original work on the game by BF-Vets got scrapped earlier in development or else it would've been a completely different game altogether and much more like BF1.
Yeah that’s a detail in BF5 is that your character will eventually count all the headshots you do or one shot kills I think it’s probably headshots and if you miss it restarts
I like sniping in bfv and certain things like to slow or fasten the fire rate of the BAR1918a2 which is a nice feature but over time the negatives of the game overwhelm me a lot
BF-V was what it was supposed to be by the time they stopped releasing new content. The PAcfic was great. You forget all the bugs (invisible soldier, etc). It's good in the state it is in, but not for the PRE-ORDER price of $100 in the very ALPHA state it released in. As such, I will NEVER Pre-ORder another EA game ever again .. and I didn't for BF2042 (I bought that for $9.99 and still haven't installed it).
It's small but very important distinctions that make all the difference when it comes to medics. Field/combat medics? You're in the clear. Hospital staff/corpsman? *Technically* a war crime. Civillian hospital workers, UN medical staff attached to relief/security forces, etc. *Definitely* a war crime. There's more minutia than that, even, but that's all I can really remember.
