The Fedorov can be equipped on a medic class loadout as a primary weapon.

Remember, the magazine is actually unique to a specific Fedorov and even if you find another magazine from another Fedorov, it may or may not work after all.
Another great guide mate, its a shame these videos dont get more views really, especially when there are Ytubers out there posting pointlessly long videos about adad spam/lag fixes and battleckpack openings etc. which get a hell of a lot more views for a lot less effort. Keep doing what you're doing!

This gun is brutal in close to medium ranges (try burstfiring 3-5 rounds for mid-range). Allows the medics to follow the squad, heal and revive them (great with the medics perks). It behaves more like the Ribeyrolles than like the other medic rifles. I especially like the trench version, for running and gunning among the support or the assault classes. With good enough hipfire capabilities, you can gas/smoke enemies and rush them, a good tactic, especially considering that support and sniper classes don't expect this from a medic. But beware: in close quarters you will be outgunned by the smg, and if you get caught in the open, lmg and slow-firing high damaging medic or sniper guns will cut you down. Stay mobile, or try to use your superior rate of fire to suppress them (works great against snipers or scoped medic guns like the Selbstlader 1916).
I love how bf1 looks, from the weapons and maps and movements, the colors and graphics are just amazing
It's weird how this gun is Russian but it's fit to use Japanese Arisaka rounds. I doubt anyone knew that about this weapon before.

The fact that loading the Avtomat with stripper clips 5 times just makes me think that it's a funky reload animation if it is implemented

The Fedorov is a monster the trench version lets a medic be very aggressive brilliant weapon love it so much .
Early AK-47 BF1 type , against other medics without the dlc this gun dominates from short to medium range , i can now even take out assault players using the monster Hellreigel or MP-18 the Fedorov has made the medic class a very interesting class now .

I already have 10 service stars with the trench variant and 3 with the optical, and I only play maybe 10-15 hours a week since the DLC dropped, and I switch weapons and even classes constantly. Everytime I see too many people with obscene amounts of Hellriegal or 10-A stars, I just say "oh yeah?" and put on my Fedora lmao. Even at mid range it's good, especially in Domination, which is mostly what I play, it's relevant at pretty much all Domination ranges.
True, but at maybe like 150 or so feet away it's harder to use and requires tap firing. Still a very fun gun to use in TDM.

This rifle still kicks ass to this day. I've done whole squad wipes with it and single handedly defended command posts. Trench variant is my preferred choice.

The flametrooper from bf1 Is going to toast u the General Liu is considerably less accurate than the Selb 1906, and has worse iron sights too. As someone who has 15 service stars with the Selb 1906, I figured the same thing, but even with the extra round and faster reload, I only prefer the Liu over the 1906 in very small Domination maps, and then the Fedora is better by miles. I only used the Factory and Storm to get a service star with them.

The flametrooper from bf1 Is going to toast u I actually only like the super shotty, slug and factory, the Ribeyolles, the Maxim SMG factory and the MP-18 trench for Ass-Salt. I prefer a mid range style game play in general, and use game sense and mixing in headshots to win cqc fights. Ass-Salt is definitely my least favorite class, still level 50, and I'll still use it if I have to or want to use the super shotty for fun though.
Has more damage and range than most LMGs, lmao.
The federov avtomat was used as an LMG IRL that's why
They fix that with the TTK 2.0
That makes sense from a balancing perspective. You wouldn't give the class with unlimited ammo the strongest weapons.

Why isn’t it a support weapon
It isn't really an assault rifle, though it called assault rifle ancestor but it wasn't assault rifle.
Since it was rushed into production, only one magazine were given to the carrier; meaning if you are out of ammo you have to load all by stripper clips (hence why it's used as a LMG and crew of two people; gunner and reloader)
Oh also, even rare it was used on WW2
if you master tap firing this weapon, you don´t need to use any other medic rifle ever again. I love the Fjodorowa and the legendary skin for it ;)

A stripper clip reload as a secret or 1 in X reloads, reload for this would have been cool for this gun. Slot in 5 stripper clips and then a single round on top. In various combos of clips and loose rounds
People who say this and the Parabellum are OP have clearly never used either guns before. Sure both may be very powerful weapons in the right hands, but both also have a severe damage drop off and unpredictable recoil.
Mountain Dew MLG Superstar XD both are really strong with the parrabellum boarding into op. my first match with parrabellum I was able to land a 6 man kill feed easily.

Medic Class Pre-Tsar: Soldiers who had a better advantage at medium and long range. Rarely revived- or equipped the Syringe.

CommanderShimi I always have, and had a syringe, A medic that doesnt revive anyone is a shit medic.
The Trench Raider true, but I know a lot of medics who fon't t ale the syringe because of all the people that skip. If there was no skip feature, I would always take a syringe. Now, I only take them when I am playing with friends or in a good squad.

i understand that this weapon wasn't used like an assault rifle in ww1, and it is very, very rare but I still consider this the first assault rifle, It fits the definition exactly, it fires an intermediate cartridge (wikipedia states its a full powered cartridge but if a 7.62mm cartridge fits the definition of "intermediate", so does the 6.5mm cartridge), it has an effective range of over 200 meters, it has a detachable box magazine and its select fire.
nope it doesn't, this is a battle rifle and not an assault rifle, furthermore it doesn't fit being an intermediate cartridge, it's just an underpowered full powder cartridge
and it wasnt used as an Assault Rifle. It was used as a Support Weapon. It was more similar to the BAR and Chauchat

Use the optical version... that fore grip makes regaining accuracy SO MUCH BETTER... people swear by the trench variant ... but honestly it just doesn't compete.
CracksteadyRiot lol.... The trench version has a foregrip too. This gun is designed to be used in CQC the trench variant has far superior hip fire and roughly the same accuracy depending on how you like iron sights. Regardless tho they both have foregrips.
Most OP gun in the game rn, especially in Domination. Hands down best gun in the game for smaller game modes. I wonder how it will inevitably be nerfed? Probably with worse accuracy.

I tried to get a Medic-specific medal with this gun. The task was to kill a number of players with Self-Loading Rifles. I used the Federov, but it did not count. I was like... "Okay... Welp Cei-Rigotti it is then"
This gun is a fucking beast if you master the tap fire with it you will be dropping people at 150 meters+

How I use this gun:
Run around like an idiot and only ads when they aren't within slapping distance. Which is rare because by that time I've already ran close enough to hipfire

Yep, the Avtomat was also mainly issued to soldiers with one magazine only, as that magazine could be topped up with stripper clips
KriticalKris so they cut cost by making it load with 5 arisaka stripper clips rather than new magazine, nice move russia.
@@muhammadrahmanadinoto2532 it was easier. Making a magazine was much more difficult back than, than it is today. It had to perfectly fit the weapon, one tiny mistake in manufacturing the mag and you get loading malfunctions.

Guys, how the hell should I unlock this gun? I am aware of the requirements, I have to get 40 kills with the Cei Rigotti trench, and 40 squad heals, but when I kill with that gun, and I go back to the page, I don't see it counted, and still shows 0/40 kills. The gun is also locked by a yellow little P letter in the corner of the picture of the gun. Does it have any relevance?

Viktor Nagy yeah probably. every new gun (with exception of the lvl10 variants) brought to bf1 after its initial release requires either premium or its DLC: example: premium grants access to all new weapon assignments (french + russian), while DLC only grants access to the weapons included in that dlc (tsnp: french weapons - tsar: russian weapons)

Correction: The Fedorov Avtomat was not considered, and does not meet the criteria to be an assault rifle. It does not utilize an intermediate cartridge.
2:21 WHY is there a Hammer & Sickle symbol of the *Soviet Union* for a weapon designed during the time of Imperial Russia?? The armies of the Tsar certainly didn't brandish any Hammer & Sickle on their uniforms or their flag. You might as well have a swastika with the German weapons. Nazi Germany didn't exist until 1933 and the Soviet Union didn't exist until 1922 *after* they had won the Russian Civil War.
The hammer & sickle of the Soviet Union certainly looks out of place next to the flag of the Russian Empire. I don't think the Tsar, the later White Movement or those who opposed the red army in Russia would approve.
Whether the weapon was later used in the Soviet Union or both sides during the Russian Civil War is irrelevant. The nazis of WWII used plenty of weapons designed before Nazi Germany existed. During WWI the Soviet Union didn't exist and while the communists did exist they didn't seize full control until 1922 when WWI was long over. For the Russians it was another long war right after WWI had ended and since foreign countries did get involved as an allied intervention supported the Russian White Movement it sort of a was a mini-world war in Russia until the Soviets finally won in 1922.
There's always that one guy that over analyses everything. I'm sure it was there to represent the gun being used by both sides, the fedorov is also often associated with the red army
