Chandler stopped being funny in series 6 and was never the same again, he was happy and in love and therefore he was boring. The best thing that Friends ever had going for it was the chemistry between Matt Le Blanc and Matthew Perry. That's why I thought the best seasons were 1-4. I watched that before and got heartwarming feeling. Now watching it,.Im in tears It's the only show I could watch billion times and never get tired of it. In all the circumstances in life it was the only place I kept coming back.. for sense of comfort. And now, I can't have that anymore. And now this comfort changed to pain. First days after news I didn't even cry much, coz I was still in shock, denial, I still am but now I can't stop the tears. Matthew is so much more than Chandler of course. But since it was a lot of him in this character, you can't completely separate these two. It's weird to say , I miss him. Coz he is so present everywhere you look! I constantly rewatched episodes or videos with him for decades.. it doesn't seem real to me.
I also ignored watching any tributes or even those old videos , compilations of Friends these days. Today for some reason I thought I'm ready .. apparently I'm not.
