Hi, I have the same exact model of 2.12 minute. Unfortunately is completely destroyed by the rust, the movement is in great condition I don’t why 😂. My question is if I take an 81950 dial and glass would fit? Obviously I’ll take the original dial!

For years I've been trying to figure out the exact Breitling Chronomat model Jerry Seinfeld wears during the first 4 seasons of Seinfeld before he switches to a Navitimer for the remainder of the series. If anyone is able help me figure this out, its going to be you! Seinfeld first aired in 1989 so Jerry would have had to of purchased the watch between 84 - 89. The best I can tell from pictures and watching the show is, its a Chronomat 81950 with a black dial with white sub dials on the 6, 9 & 12. I think the watch you show at 1:49sec could very well be the right model.. It would be great to hear back from you to potentially discuss this further. Thanks!

Yes. The watch at 2:12 is a 81950 so a 81950 suitable glass and dial will fit.

The oldest Breitling he has looks to be 81950A Chronomat panda with gold rider tabs.
The one at 1:49 is the exact one Jerry wore. 👍
