I got frustrated real bad today and got strongly tempted to worry about the problems I was facing. Praise God!!! I turned to Christ and thanked Him for allowing me to be tested like this. I felt like I was about to fail and fall into despair, like I would have in my past life. Thank God that old man is dead, and Thank God for still loving me enough to give me the strength and way of escape!!!
You bring encouragement to so many brother. I pray God opens eyes and ears to the words you preach. If only they could see the love and patience you share with them. I say you're doing it RIGHT!!!

@@KerriganSkelly I have been able to forsake all willful sins. But it does take quite sometime to get rid of the shame and guilt after years of disobedience. But that's getting better too.
For the most part, my disobedience had to do with the spirit of rejection. I never felt God wanted or loved me even after finding Christ. This is my biggest battle to this day.

It amazes me how someone with a carnal mindset think they know more about a Bible they never studied, than someone who is actually studied and gifted with the Holy Spirit
It helps for them to learn ….. most people are like that , they are kind of rude and ask crazy questions but they are truly interested and want to learn.

just like being a child, I remember things I did in the past that seem silly now! Same as when I was Catholic, I thought I knew Jesus, and knew God! I only knew my "own understanding!"
so just like a child, I grew up from Catholic to Christian, and it was absolutely not even on my radar! Jesus poured out his grace upon me, and I asked Jesus to save me, in the very Catholic church, that I was attending. so God works in mysterious ways. Unless we grew up in a Spirit filled Christian household, we most likely thought we knew God better than everyone else! Everyone walks around with their own version of God, until they submit to Jesus and read the bible!
What really gets me, is I go out evangelizing, and the people i am preaching or ministering to, say the exact same thing as the rest of my family who still don't submit themselves to God's word! it's almost comical in a way, because God healed me in my parents living room from kidney stone pain! And the 2 vessels that laid hands on me and prayed in Jesus name for the stone to move, are the same 2 individuals that say the silly things, and act silly just like your average Joe out on the sidewalk saying they are Christians but know nothing about God's word!
let me rephrase, comical only because it's so disappointing! God told me to have them pray over me, and they listened and were part of the miracle, they still doubt the calling on my life! oh and right after I was delivered of the kidney stone pain, Jesus baptized me with fire, and I dropped to my knees shaking and crying! my family thought I was dying! I had to explain to them what just happened once I pulled myself together, that Jesus filled me with the Holy Spirit! I told them that Jesus is using me to share the Gospel with them, and everyone else! that if it was just me without God, I would still be getting high and drunk, and not care about making sure everyone hears the Gospel! AND EVEN AFTER ALL THAT, they still deny God's word, lean upon their own understanding, and they think u can pick and choose which sins in the bible to gloss over! And even though they don't study the word of God, they will argue and even get down right upset, when I speak TRUTH on behalf of the word!(God!). John 1:1 he is the word!
Imagine God's chosen people, torture and kill their own Messiah, and mock scoff, and act like they know God better than him! we are basically experiencing the same thing as Jesus did, and he told us that we would experience all the same stuff he did!
it's very hard to DENY SELF! PRIDE IS SOMETHING ELSE!

I get very angry when I hear how the Catholic Church leads people away from Jesus. They really make up their own rules. I was 38 now 61 when I had heard of a personal relationship with Jesus. I knew I didn’t know what that was about and I Never thought I was a Christian when I was in Catholic Church. If they would only read the New Testament. The letters in red are what Jesus said himself! I pray 🙏 my Catholic family has the same hunger I had for really knowing Jesus and letting the Holy Spirit guide you daily. i have been contending with professing Christians in my life who claim they cannot stop sinning🚮 now one thing they like to use against me is Romans 13:1-2… saying if i speed, J walk, roll through a stop sign, then i am technically sinning. of course i do not agree with this but i’ve been struggling to successfully explain to them why this is not the case. i drive like i love my neighbor is the best answer i can give them… thoughts??

I think the catholic was referring to the "myoglobin" (not blood) of the rare steak-it hasn't had a chance to react to the heat yet because the steak was removed prematurely.
When we have a rare steak.. we're not eating blood.. the non reactive myoglobin makes the steak juices appear like blood.. when it's not. 🤷♀️

This man is confusing the Passover with the Last Supper. Jesus said whenever you do this do it in remembrance of me. Meaning it was a symbolic sign of what Jesus did to save all of us. Transubtiantion is what I think he was trying to justify. Both the Passover and the crucifixion of Jesus save His people from bondage and death.
The bread was the Body of Jesus and the Wine represented the spilled blood of Jesus. So we, I, must accept the sacrificial death of Jesus for my forgiveness of sins. My body is given for you! My blood spilled for you!
