Non-Catholics should change the wording from "catholic" to "universal church" in their usage of the Nicene creed.
Catholic means universal. Non-catholics should just come into communion with Christ's catholic church.
@@anonjohn7571 I do not disagree with the definition of "catholic". But using the term "catholic" in the Nicene creed presents overtones of the Roman Catholic Church - which not universal, but specifically under the Vatican hierarchy and authority.
@Douggg1000 The word catholic is also used in the apostles creed and recited by orthodox and some protestants. It just means universal. Also, no matter what kind of mental gymnastics you attempt because you were influenced to hate catholics, you cannot escape the fact that the catholics were and always have been the original Christians and it's riddled in history.
@@anonjohn7571 I am non-denominational, neither Catholic nor Protestant. I have no hate of Catholics whatsoever.
The disciples were first called "Catholics" at Antioch in Acts 11:26 ?
@Douggg1000 I am well aware calling Christians catholic, is a biblical term. You are anti-catholic tho, because you refuse to acknowledge catholics are Christians and the original Christians, to the point you want to change the wording. Non-denomination is protestant, it's one of thousands sects within protestantism.
St Spryridon and St Alexander of Svir agree all three are God. St Alexander saw the triune even though he was Eastern Orthodox his visit was Catholic. Like St Spryridon and others show that our limited human understanding, logic, and languages make it hard to comprehend God. This is why arianism grew. His glory is vast and great like Padre Pio affirms, spanning dimensions, stars systems, microcosms, and possibilities.

Did Jesus ever say “I am God” or “Worship me”?
His disciple Thomas worshipped him, "My Lord and my God"
@@koppite9600 Who do you think Jesus prayed to in the Garden of Gethsemane?
Jesus said, "I am the Messiah" and "God sent me"
@@Flagship7 How did you come to know the nature of God? Where did you read your understanding of his nature?
@@koppite9600 From the greatest commandment in the Bible? Do you know it?
Suffered under Pontius Pilate, crucified and died under Joseph Chaiaphas!
Holy Christian church.
seems that all creeds somehow adores catholic church and call it holly by some unknown prophets even catholic church kills and dont admit any prophets after Jesus and basically they called themself "god servants"
Seems like your focus should be how the Catholic Church honors and glorify the father and the son and the Holy Spirit
@@Stepbystepbiblegroup1968 catholic church glorified themself only, catholicism dont even exists in time of jesus and first apostles and Jesus just like first apostles dont have any of cults and sacraments which now are using in catholic church just like they dont have worshiping of dead bodies, saints, bones, sculls, statues ...., basically you copy paganic Mitra religion with this cults and deceive masses that it is from jesus
Catholic means "universal" There is one true church, that of the body of all believers, past, present and future, the bride of Christ. It includes Roman Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants, all who can truly profess and believe the historic creeds of the church.
@@markalexander832 it means that all three are world religions/confessions lies especially catholicism in their creed because none prophets or holly ghost don't say that any of this church are holly!!its only self-glorification of priests!!after all Jesus dont have any specific religion and especially not cults and sacraments which are basically copy of old paganic religions only and they add Jesus& God into that soup
The last prophet was John the baptist, how can there be any prophet after son of living God Jesus...
