- Caeleb Dressel demonstrates a perfect hyperstreamlined body position.
Dressel maintains a straight body line at entry and holds a streamline glide for almost 25 meters.
How far can you dive and glide off the blocks? - Спорт
It needs very strong core strength to keep streamline without kicking.
No it doesn’t
@@ava3910 I’ve been in competitive swimming for 17 years now, the last four I’ve been on a mid major division I ncaa team, but nice try
@@Stopleftists1776 ok buddy, cool
@SpaceQuackHD well said sir
@@Stopleftists1776 experience doesn't matter when you're wrong
The water is a paid actor
bro no way
can you imagine if he did that in an olympic race
@Karen Xian unless it’s the 100 breast
He'd lose AND be disqualified
He wouldn’t disqualify
@brunobbigdongzhongyou can stream line past the 15, your head just has to break the surface of the water before the 15 meter mark
omg i cant believe he died and the guy kept filming 😧
Underrated comment😂
Back in the 50s , in Lancashire UK, our school gala and inter school matches used to include a “plunge “ distance competition
Used to be an Olympic event in the early days. Was considered unathletic, so they eliminated it
@@tylerkochman1007 how exactly is it unathletic 😅
Present world record , in 60 seconds, 26.4 metres
God loves you guys!!!
Everyone: very impressive yes that core line is held tight
Me:'o' he wen far
That's also faster than my 25m.. fuckin Dressel
learn to jump in the water
Dude just slept over water 🌊
that’s the odome at the university of florida
Why didn't they just say 25 meters?
he took a breath just before his hands reached the 25m point
I Knew Right......My Math Teacher Gonna Mad Seeing this
Because it was only 24.9
Idk I guess they like to be really specific.
To me 24.9 meters would draw my attention more because it’s so close to the halfway point
How do you do that

like a dolphin
Caleb is more athletic!!
I am surprised that he floats
@@carson2040 bc his body fat percentage is extremely low
@@carson2040 yeah, and I am surprised by that. When I swam when I was in school, I sank like a stone.
Low fat percentage doesn’t correlate to greater flotation. It’s how dense your body is. As a matter of fact, fat floats better than muscle.
+0.1 (please)
0:11
That’s more like 15m instead of 24.9m as per the title
Nah this was done in a 50 meter pool so he got to just under half way (24.9 meter) off the start
He crosses 15m at 0:07
It’s a 50 meter pool
Drifting by laying flat on the water doesn’t count. And even when he drifted, that’s still not remotely close to 25m
@@GlobalPenguin2012 Well lets see. He entered the water at the 5m mark (which is crazy I don't know how he does that), got out at around 13m and glided all the way to 24.9m
Fart for that extra boost
What's so hard about that. I do that all day long.
Let's see the footage ;)
@@SwimmingClips first of all you need a strong core for holding in streamline that long and you have to make sure your dive was good and balanced so you can stay in the middle of the lane without any underwater kicks and then you need to be able to hold your breath for that long and then you need to have a very good dive that will start you off the blocks better and not many people in the world can do all of that above and reach 24.9m so I don't know who the hell DAN M. is but you gotta think before you speak
Lmao okay
Lmao okay
lol couldnt get that extra .1 of a meter
😳😳😳😳
