How to properly vent Golden Perch

Have you ever caught a Golden Perch from deep water and tried to release it only to find that it floats back to the surface? Is the fish dead...? No its not and in this video I will show you the reason why it is floating and exactly what you need to do to look after your catch. Barotrauma is one of the most common reason for these fish dying when caught from deep water and by successfully venting the fishes swim bladder as I do in this video you will prevent this from happening.

At a guess there about 30mm in length, I’d have to double check to be sure
